The OP asserts we "lose ugly."

We may lose. I'll be very surprised if we lose ugly, though, and the point here is... so would others who get paid to write about football, as opposed to those of us who volunteer our time. :)
as much time that I'm on here, they need to pay me, I do so many good things around here, asking for thoughts alone is worth 3.2 million pennies!!!! lol

The Browns do not handle prosperity well...their QB is awful...missing their RB1...Defense will prevail in this close game, and the Cowboys have more to prove after our last effort at home vs GB.

So if we win Sunday then we beat a good team. Nope no one will give them credit.
Exactly.

If the Cowboys win, the Browns are 0-1, don't have a winning record and were overrated.

If the Cowboys lose, the Browns are 1-0 and the Cowboys cannot beat a team with a winning record.

The 2024 season is going to be just like this week in and week out.

The keys to this game will be our rushing attack and our secondary. I doubt Diggs is fully recovered and Carson is just a rookie.
I think the Cowboys put this game in Dak's hands, despite his preseason rust. Leads Cowboys down the field for the go-ahead score. Dallas leads 26-24 with 1:53 left in the fourth.
Watson drives Cleveland down the field. Sets the Browns up for the winning field goal. The kick is up, it's ... ggggooooodddd!
Final score: Cleveland 27, Dallas 26

I don't like that scenario.

I would love for someone to explain to me how the Cowboys won't handle Garrett but the Browns will handle Micah.

Right now their projected left tackle is Jack Conklin - who hasn't played a game since week 1 last year, and hasn't played left tackle...ever. He just came off of the PUP list last week.

I remember 2014... all the experts on the boards predicting a 4 and 5 win season. I know one thing, if people are so sure of an ugly loss, they sure hurry out and drop about 2k on the game. That should be the easiest money ever made. Or what is the over under on receptions and yards for Lamb? I mean, we are on grass, which we know we suck on. Lamb and Dak will clearly be rusty, so no way is Lamb having a big game. Hell, you should drop 10k on th eunder for receptions and yards. Easy money.........smh

Penalties, TO's, trenches....can this team clean up the penalties, protect the ball, get a rushing game going and stop the run...this still has not changed in (insert years here) years...

100% it wasn't a disaster. This team has viable options to fill all the holes left from departing players. The team might even be better.

That said, I applaud those who find better ways to spend their time than watching NFL games, esp. if it's working with youth. Roll with what seems best to make a better world. :)
offseason disaster? They drafted 2 olineman that are getting rave reviews. Kneeland getting very positive reviews, and Flournoy looked very good in preseason... Better than Tolbert has ever looked. Yet the offseason was a total disaster......lol

and yet they have won 12 games 3 years in a row. They couldnt have possibly beaten 36 chumps in that time frame.

Sunday will be mass misery. Sinking despair. Shrill howls in the game threads will burst out to "CUT EVERY PLAYER. FIRE EVERY COACH!"

But later in the season the tone will change...might we rise? Can we rise? Then: "This team is back on track!"
Ya it should be a hoot

I’m thinking there’s a lot of Cowboys fans who are hoping the team does lose ugly. There’s a lot of angry, bitter fans out there who still haven’t gotten over the playoff debacle to Green Bay and hated our offseason approach. They’re hoping the team will lay an egg this year so serious changes are made.
