7 straight losses to 7 straight wins

No, I'm a realist. This season was completely wasted and it's utterly and completely idiotic to think that we're suddenly going to go on a run and make the playoffs.

The only saving grace for this season would have been to get a top draft pick out of it. But unfortunately our ownership, and too many of our fans, are far too idiotic to realize that is the best case for this team going forward.

I've been a Cowboys fan for well over 30 years now and it's frustrating to see us get on these stupid "moral victories" at the end of the season that don't do anything to improve our team. Had they won just a game or few during Romo's absence then my attitude would be different. But these mental midgets couldn't even do that.

That just goes to show that Jerruh truly isn't interested in winning at the end of the day but rather dangling the carrot in front of the fans face just enough to get them to continue opening up their pocket books and keep buying the garbage that they put out on the field. And guess what, this year will be no different.

Let me guess you're also the same "realist fan" that saids we can't draft right anyways. We always pick the wrong player. ......you're not a "realist" you're a Debbie Downer.

Some people like drinking the koolaid, I refuse to. I've seen this show being repeated year after year after year.

But hey, homer away.
Drinking the koolaid? With Romo this team went 12-4, Romo is 2-0 this year. If Cassel or Weeden was still QB I would agree that we won't make playoffs but that's not the case.

Has nothing to do with drinking anything, or being a happy fan. People see this is a good football team with Romo under center. I think you guys have forgotten what they look like with Romo.

Maybe we don't win the division maybe we do but Romo gives us that chance. To simply say there is no way we win the division is just plain stupid to say. That's not being real, that's refusing to believe.

A "realist" would be real and say. .....you know I look at this division and I see no team that looks above and beyond the other teams. A realist would look at the schedule and see Giants have Carolina, Vikings, Philly and Washington still to go. ......Philly has NE, Arizona, Washington and NY still to play......Washington still has NE, Dallas 2x, Carolina, Philly, NY. A realist would look at it and say Dallas is behind 2 games and they are getting healthy. A realist would say it's still anybody division, most likely comes down to last game of season.

Dallas has been in every game in the 4th quarter not including the NE game. Romo wins 5 out of those 7 games and most likely 6 wins out of 7. This is real for you Romo scores more then 6-10 points. Our defense holding teams to 10 points and so Romo will win games and that is being real

It's the best time of the year. We have some tough games remaining and its a certain long shot to win 7. But it would be pretty easy to end up tied for the division.

Eagles lose to Panthers and Cardinals (likely assumptions)

Giants lose to Panthers and either Vikings or Eagles (likely assumptions)

Three way tie. No idea the tie breaker but this is not impossible. This team is adding a top qb in the league. The defense has played well enough to give our struggling offense chances. Now we should see a more complete team

This is the worst team we'll play so we need to stomp them. But I still think 4-3 would be best case, and that's a stretch.

LOL. I just spit out my Dr.Pepper when I read the edit. "S u n s h i n e Pumper" was edited out for Happy Fan. Mods please leave this, I will never say again, I promise, complete honest mistake. I didn't know that was a bad term. Hahahahahha. This just made made my night.

I had to check myself....I don't know if it's funny or lame......

You guys are gonna be crushed Sunday night. We're not a good team, with Romo or without. I expect another close game, as usual, with another game killing mistake committed in the waning minutes of the 4th quarter

psst, your Eagles/giants fandom is showing

I'm not in the 7-0 being realty club (one can hope, though).
But, I'm guessing that Jerry wants to win FAR more than you do.
It's his biggest dream left.
Just a guess though.

It's fine to post a negative comment or so in a thread. We have a good team but have sucked at winning. The reasons are obvious and Romo fixes much of it. If you are going to repeatedly be negative in a thread then your comments are likely to be deleted at some point. It's pointless to repeat your position over and over and creates friction with others.

If you present constructive reasons for failure you're contributing as long as you don't keep repeating that either. Same goes for deliberate 'sunshine pumping'. A few retorts to repetitively negative posters is fine. Don't keep doing that either.

Every side of the coin deserves to be heard. Don't derail threads though. Say what you want then leave it at that. Repeating yourself over and over is annoying at the least. /mod off

You're the boss but I say let them whine and name cal. It's entertaining.
I really would like to know their motive for posting and why it makes them angry when others believe their team can win.

Man, it's really going to be disappointing to the homers when we not only don't pull off 7 straight wins but at the end of the season still watch the playoffs with everyone else.

At least you'll be satisfied so you can tell everyone that you told them so! So awesome.

You do realize Carolina was 3-8-1 last year and made the playoffs right? Normally I and probably many others on this board would not be the least bit optimistic, but no one in this division is running away with anything and with Romo back there is hope. If they lose Sunday I concede it's over, but I think they pull it out and shock the football world Thursday.

First time all year I'm calling for a blow out. Sucks to be Miami right now against Romo. Cowboys 38-14

Some of you can continue to dream but not even last year's 12-4 team won 7 straight. The Cowboys 7 game losing streak is currently the longest losing streak of any team in the league this season. Let that sink in.

My mind is already in the off season. I honestly don't recall any QB being 100% after coming off an injury and I doubt Romo will be. Plus this team has flaw even Romo can't fix.
