I can't understand how young people can be fans of this carnival. At least the elders can remember the Landry and Johnson days. Since - YUCK!

The criticism and onslaughter Jerry, Stephen, and Jason are seeing remind me of the time when Campo fired. To prove to fans he could it right, he hired Parcell and gave him as much authority as Jimmy had. This is I'm starting to think he may go after a big name.
Problem is Jerry is not trying to build a new stadium now, so don’t hold your breath.

This kid is 7. Meaning he probably only remembers Dallas the last few seasons, one being a 13 win team. Nothing but a publicity stunt from the parents to get attention. And it worked.

Jerry will use this letter as a coaster for his glasses of Johnny Blue.

Just my opinion... I love his mother's passion.

I have no problem with his mother's passion for the team. The problem that I have is that she is teaching her child poor sportsmanship. As a parent we should be better examples. It is her kid so it her business. I just don't find anything impressive about the letter. Seems like the 7 year old was just regurgitating what comes out of his mother's mouth on game days.

there are articles saying that the dallas brass is super high on riley. i'm holding out for that. perfect storm with JG and jerry decides to pull a parcells type move with riley. hand over the money and power....

Seems to me like the 7 year old loves his Dallas Cowboys.

Sounds like his parents told him what to write. Sorry kid, you’re only 7, after you watch this team fail for another 20 years then get back to me with your sob story.

You stole my thunder. Yeah, the clapping comment pretty much gave it away.

Whether he loves the Cowboys or not has nothing to do with my point. My problem is not with the 7 year old. My problem is with the parent thinking it is OK to teach your kid poor sportsmanship and to be disrespectful to adults. As Cowboys' fans we want to complain about Eagles' fans because of the way some of them act at games. I wonder who taught them to act that way and where they learned to act that way. I bet it started at a young age in front of the TV with their parents.

Anyway, I have my opinion and you have yours. We don't have to agree.

Even though Jerry won't respond, I feel like he should. Even though he won't, he should be held accountable. Since he's the owner and the GM, he has no one to hold him accountable except the fans. He should be hearing us out. That is, if he cared about Cowboys football AND winning. We know he cares about making money first. Maybe this is a decent first step to getting his attention.
