Excerpts from Ms. Jacobs' initial 911 call
  • Can you please not say who's calling? I feel really threatened.
  • We are not leaving until somebody gets here.
  • He has a gun in his trunk.
  • Mandy, the girl that he broke the windows to, is bleeding. No, she does not need an ambulance. They are starting to leave right now because they are scared.
  • I really can't talk right now because he is coming.
  • I just don't feel comfortable right now.
  • He's coming! I have to go! He's coming! I'm scared! Bye! Bye!
Ms. Jacobs is frightened when she first calls the police. She is frightened because the father of her baby possesses a firearm, brought a pane of glass, and physically harmed her friend. She is frightened to the point that she will not leave the hotel parking lot where the baby father is still lurking even though she has a means of escape. She knows the firearm remains located nearby for the baby father to retrieve. She is so frightened that she does not attempt to flee from him as he re-enters the parking lot or allow the police to hear what was about to happen, but is polite enough to the 911 dispatcher to say bye. Twice.

I eagerly await the legal ramifications of this... whatever you want to call this. So. The 911 call gives the exact location of the firearm used to threaten Ms. Jacobs and possibly others.

Question.

Why didn't the police ask Randle to open his trunk after they arrived at the scene?

She said the car left a challenger.

Guns, weed, Underoos, and Brut by Faberge.

No interpretation needed for that.

It's not coincidental that they don't play him much.
He's gone soon, with Ryan Williams stepping into his backup role.
Dude. Don't volunteer to serve on any jury pools, okay? :)

You mean when he ran through that gaping hole that 100 other backs could have scored on?

This is a backup nobody. Not worth all this.

The play is irrelevant. My point was in regards to the response from Dez.

This is the play I'm referencing:

Dez loves football, and he loves to win. I love that about him.

But I think Dez would dogpile Charles Manson if he scored a touchdown to win a game.

Once again I call on all the Randle supporters . Please defend this this so I may see how delusional we can be.

The posts you're looking for all all over the thread, aren't they?

we have our child here and he has a lot of weed

This just sounds like something somebody would say if they wanted to get him in trouble. What does weed have to do with her being threatened.

Why did she hang around if she felt threatened?

I feel like the increased awareness and media attention of Domestic Violence with Pro Athletes is going to cause many of them to be extorted with threats of calling the Police.

and the fact that she keeps calling him by his full name "Joseph Randle just didnt _____." "Oh, and did I mention he plays for the Cowboys?" sounds super suspect.

Ok here's my opinion...since everyone has one.

I don't think Joe Randle is completely innocent. I think there was an altercation of some kind, but I think her arrival started it off. I know females like her and I have a pretty good idea of how it went down.

  • Joe and his people are hanging out in a hotel room.
  • Baby Moms and him are still messing around.
  • She suspects other females are in the room.
  • She lets her friend hype her up.
  • She goes to the room with their child in order to show EVERYBODY who she is in his life.
  • Proceeds to act the fool.
  • He, in the most immature way possible, tries to get her out of the room. Probably did the Chris Rock, "shake the **** out of you" move.
  • She calls the police. Specifically mentions gun to get them there. Notes he's a Dallas Cowboy as if that should matter.
  • After he convinces her that she messed up by calling them, she tries to recant.
  • Too late...and now he's caught a case.
My 2 nickels..

Thanks. That's what I deserve for not listening to the third 911 recording.

On a side note, I wish the public can be educated about the difference between 911 and Crimebusters. People can can Crimebusters to report crimes without having to reveal their identities and maybe pocket a reward if the report leads to a arrest and/or conviction. 911 is not Crimebusters. Ms. Jacobs will understand the difference if-and-when she is the victim or witness to a crime in the future (I hope).

Am I the only one who heard her say "we" broke the window in the first call?

That scenario is plausible in my opinion. The first 911 call does not sound like someone fearing for her immediate safety.

The beginning of the second 911 call sounds like it may have been made during or following second parking lot encounter between Ms. Jacobs and Randle. She may have told Randle the police were on their way and he would face the music. At that point, Randle may have explained some of the ramifications of contacting the police--which Ms. Jacobs may not have fully considered. Then the phone went dead for several minutes before the call was re-established with the 911 dispatcher and Ms. Jacobs claimed she no longer needed police assistance. A firearm was likely in play and Randle convinced someone to drive off with it in his car.

Of course, this is me reading a lot between the lines. :p Domestic violence is an extremely important issue that should not be tolerated. My question is whether my concept of domestic violence was met--namely, was Ms. Jacobs/family/friends targets of real or implied malicious intent by Randle? Or was this an angry disagreement between one confirmed idiot (Randle) and another possible idiot (Ms. Jacobs) where the police were dragged into?
