LOL LOL “Dak elevates his team.” There are many posters here who unfortunately have CDS (Cowboys Derangement Syndrome).
Idiot fans blame one guy on a team sport....who is deranged? 180 rushing in the first half was because of Dak? Stupidity has no boundaries!

Oh, good lord. The QB touches the ball on every play. STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR RAYNE.
Really! Never noticed, thanks for pointing that out, made my day!

So, let's hear your plan to find us one of those quarterbacks, you know, the perfect ones, or the ones who can win regardless of the talent, coaching and the inevitable of injuries that will occur around him.

Easy to blame, we can all do that, one of these days we'll have some of the NFL geniuses on sites like this come up with an actual workable plan to get a sure-fire SB winning quarterback. Got to be easy, right? Must be, though one wonders how the Jets, Lions, et al have managed to not do it for 50 years, or never.

1. This is just not true.
2. Wilson has never been a team elevator.
3. True. But that doesn't mean we should just give up and be happy w/ 1 and dones.
Thanks for your post, always thoughtful, unlike many here.

But seriously, if a quarterback has to be a team elevator, how did guys like Dilfer, Johnson, Flacco, Foles etc. win SBs? NONE of those have ever been described as an "elevator". All won SBs because their defenses just absolutely dominated in the year they won.

How did Dak win the first two games 70-10? Absolutely dominating defense. I would submit if he had that all year long he WOULD win a SB.

But with Jerry consistently ignoring the DT position, it'll never happen....

The defense gave up 21 points late into the 4th quarter. 6 points offensively in the second half against Arizona is unacceptable. Wake up.

I don't know who that guy is, but I know for CERTAIN that Rayne Dakota is NOT that guy. Do you know what the definition of insanity is?

Pick was terrible, but the game was over.

At the time of the pick there was 3 minutes left. Cardinals got the ball and ran out the clock.

There was NO ONE open on that play so if he throws it away, we have one more down to score. Something we had trouble doing all day. Even if we score we have to stop the Cards with 3 minutes to go then march down the field and score a TD. And since the Cards ran out the clock it would have been moot anyway.

You can make up whatever fantasies you want. Dak played great considering all the issues the offense had and 3 pro bowler out on the line.

Anyone that blames Dak is a total and complete football dunce. Guys like Dak were the ONLY think keeping the Cowboys in the game. Dak, Pollard, Gallup.

He was incredible on 3rd down extending drives with clutch throws and with his legs.

Go watch the game again if you can remember properly. Ive watched it 3 times. Feel free to bring up whatever you want Dak did poorly. Specific plays.

LOL.. completely ignored the point about how Dak would have supposedly won in 2020, on pace to throw for 6000 yards, was going to win those games but he ran out of time…. Now the excuses are his INTs are irrelevant based on the fact there was not enough time..

Yah, dont even know what your talking about with the 6k yards nonsense.

In reference to the game outcome his Pick was irrelevant. In other words, he didnt lose the game like you bozos keep trying to infer.

In the one game where we really needed him against the Eagles he had 3.
You're going to dog on a backup QB throwing three picks against the eventual NFC Champions? How about not cherry picking one game and look at the 5 games in total?

I like Rush. But you bozos keep saying that Dak doesnt elevate the team. Well this same team under another QB was 25th in the NFL where Dak was #1.

So clearly he elevated the team does he not?

Not my problem the facts dont jive with your laughable agenda.

Hell Dak elevated the team over and over again Sunday all game long. How many 3rd downs did he save our @*** after penalties and miscues? He extended drives.

You cannot lose four Pro Bowlers and be the same team you were last week.

Martin, Biadasz, Smith and Diggs. Three of them have been former 1st team All Pros

you clearly exxagerate reflexively..."amazing"?

Of all the QBs who have thrown passes this year, Dak is LAST in yards the ball has travelled in the air.

"Amazing"? LOL...your standards are low.
Cherry picking stats. That that too is situational and play calling.

qbs rarely wing the ball in defensive blowouts. Football 101.

Did you miss the clearest example of him elevating the team last year when he came back from injury? Anemic offense to #1 in every major category when he came back.

Too many people are clouded in every aspect of football bc of recency bias. It is hillarious.
With Dak as a QB last year we had a lower winning percentage than we did when Rush was the QB. So no he was not number one in every major category, the most important category is winning.

Recency bias, otherwise know as "What have you done for me lately", will always be a thing in professional sports. But alas when it comes to Dak, one could ask what have you done for me ever besides having a history of bi-polar play.

Infer?

You are trying to “infer” the game was over and the INT was meaningless, even though there were 3 minutes left, all because you trying to defend his turd play, even though it was 21-16 going into the 4th.

But in 2020, all you and your fanboys did is claim his “greatness” based upon the fact he was “coming back” and would have won the game if he had enough time. Even though we all know he was just padding stats against soft zones where the opponents were doing exactly that, running out the clock, keeping everything in front of them

When Rush got the team down to 3 against the Eagles, with almost a quarter to play, none of you were making this many excuses for Rush… the 4th string QB with a noodle arm..

I like Dak, just as I did Romo, but I do realize neither of them have the intangibles to will a team to a championship.

They both have won at a high level, but it will take another player or two, for this franchise to become legit contenders again.

No hate, just observing each snap, play called, execution and adjustments. There have been Non-Elite QB's that have won championships, but someone else on the team was the catalyst.

Nice guys with above average to average careers.
