A 7 year QB Starter should elevate a team

He couldn't do it in year 3 he isn't going to magically do it in year 8.

Dak won his first playoff game by year 3. Great quarterbacks like Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and a host of others didn't win their first playoff game by year 3.


Hell Matthew Stafford was a 1st round draft pick and didn't win his first playoff game until his 11th or 12th year in the league.

Now I'm not saying Dak will have the career Manning and Brees had, but he had a better start than they had.

Dak only played 6 full seasons and I can name a host of other quarterbacks who haven't done much in their first 6 seasons or 7 seasons.

For some reasons, all those other quarterbacks get passes and excuses as to why they didn't succeed in their first 6 or 7 years and they are 1st and 2nd round draft picks.

So I don't want to hear any excuses for any of them either. Good quarterbacks "elevate their teams", correct??

However...you compare 1st round QB...HIGH 1st round....that usually have to go to crappy teams in desperate need of a good QB...hence the high 1st round designation.
