No ****. And it goes without saying that under-reacting is just as annoying, unwelcome, and counter-productive. When you spend much more time defending the team after a hideous loss than skewering them, you got yourself a credibility problem. 24 hours later, certain people still can't bring themselves to hold the team or front office accountable. Hopeless.
I'm starting to become more and more convinced that the under-reactors are the "Wade's" of the world.

Wade hasn't fixed this team in 3 years. As a matter a fact is almost like they get worse every year.

You look and say people are over reacting and in some cases that is true, but there is a very good reason for everyone to be extremely worried right now. This team sucks. Why? They have no consistency and there is ALWAYS something wrong. They fix one thing, but another issues crops up.

I as a fan demand better from people getting paid millions upon millions of dollars to play this game. I am starting to understand how the Raider fans feel. Perpetual ineptitude.
Well at least they are consistent in the aspect of always having something wrong.

This team peaked in October 07. Wade should have been fired on the field in Philly Dec 08. But the GM knew he would look like a fool for a bad hire only two years in. He looks like a bigger fool now. Gotta admire the Jets, they owned their mistake (Mangini) and cut their losses quick.

I would much better be undefeated right now and finish the season 13-3, get a first round bye and then lose my first playoff game at home.

That season started so much better than this one, but in the end who cares. Id rather be 8-8 and miss the playoffs, or go in as a wild card, win a playoff game and perhaps make a run for it then take that season all over again.

OK

I disagree ...... I think the right coach can be successful with Jerry.

Its happened before.

Only one, but he just happened to be a former teammate of Jerry's, and just happened to be available when Jerry bought the team. In short, lightning struck. And last time I checked, he wasn't coming back.

Wade isn't a good HC but if he had an offense that was doing its job, Dallas would be 4-0.

If he was was a good HC, we wouldn't have to put up with a terrible OC.

Its just like last year with Stewart. Wade was totally hands off even when the defense was playing atrocious. Jerry had to basically force him to get involved.

If Wade, the Head Coach, wants better offensive play, or the team to run more in the 2nd half, or not have game-ending plays go to Sam Hurd, he needs to get involved.

But he won't, until someone makes him. That has been his MO his whole career, and why he is a terrible HC.

This doesn't absolve Garrett or Romo, just Exhibit 12,344 on why Wade shouldn't be here.

Then we need to keep looking.

Jerry needs a coach with as much of an ego as him, who likes to gamble, who can handle any type of player, who demands perfection, and who has a killer instinct.

Parcells was close ..... but he was way to conservative.

Wade does not have the ego to stand up to Jerry's circus.

Any suggestions?

Wade can't get involved. Garrett is Jerrys guy. Garrett was hired before Wade, was he not?

Wade has no choice but to accept it.

Nope. Jerry's not seeking my input or yours, and he's pretty much impervious to "mediot" criticisms, so what's the point?

Who needs a team when you have a stadium like that?

Great. Name one other successful head coach in history who would put up with that. You see Jimmy rolling with the "I'm not allowed to coach half the team." scenario?

Maybe the problem is with Wade we don't HAVE a head coach.

Exactly.

I keep expecting this team to play like it did in 07. It's not 2007 anymore, and I have officially lowered my expectations for their performances.

yep, as soon as we all accept mediocracy from this team the better. i've spent the season trying not to get too worked up over this.
it looks more and more like a 8-8 kind of year. with the current coaching staff, it will not change.

A little perspective on the overreaction.

Look at this thread ..... and look at the posters and what they are saying about the subject of that thread.

http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63678

Look familiar?

There are hundreds of threads just like these ...... and the same people always react the same way.

Everyone has the right to be upset about the way this team is playing...... and everyone has the right to express it.

EVERYONE ..... including those that prefer to have hope.

Just remember that and do not let the few, very loud people who always over react and always jump to negative conclusions, get you down.

There is reason to be hopeful, there is reason to believe that this team, with the right motivation, can turn this season around.

There are still 12 games left to play.

;)

I would insert *tapping foot, arms crossed waiting* but everyone knows that's impossible to do...................for 14 years.

Probably because there have been hundreds of dreadful performances by Jerry's boys like this over the last decade plus. Wake up!

We're only a few plays away from being undefeated, so we can still make a run at the playoffs.

I'm an optimist, clearly....

LOL. Rampage..cmon man!! I only just read the first few pages.

But this is something that has plagued the team for years. It's the same ol same ol. I've seen nothing to believe that we are going to change all of a sudden. I will be happy when that times comes. Until then, I will sit back and expect these results.
