yep .He’s terrible value now with that anchor of a contract.

To answer your question................If don't think it would be better with the QBs I listed...........Andy Dalton, Cooper Rush, Paxton Lynch, Johnny Manziel, Kenny Pickett, or Zach Wilson.......getting to 20 points would be a major accomplishment. It's concerning that you think everything would be ok. SMH.At the end of the season, the results would be the same with any of the QBs you listed so what’s your point?
See my response......make sure your friend Swagger checks it too.So no answer to my question? lol
Please. It was Dak that carried those teams that had three All-pro OL (Fredbeard, T. Smith, and Martin); a prime Zeke and Pollard; Dez, Witten, Ceedee, and Amari; and a defense that held the 49ers to 23 and 19 points, respectively, in two playoff games. If you can't see that, then you a hater.Pleasseeeee... Dak has failed with numerous talent over the years.
Yeah getting the ball to the 45 and sending in Aubrey is not a credit to the QB.Aubrey put up 17
Dak put up 13
When he says Dak carried those teams what he really means is that Dak was carried by those teams. The problem is that you can surround Dak with a ton of talent for what they were paying him then. He isn't the QB that is going to thrive while taking a quarter of the cap space.Please. It was Dak that carried those teams that had three All-pro OL (Fredbeard, T. This is just some interesting information for us to digest. Take from it what you will and not intended to start arguments one way or the other.
On a personal note, although I don't like Dak, I do like Jared and if they have such similar careers, I can at least admit that Dak is a good QB for the Cowboys and just needs to deliver in the playoffs to move to the next tier. Crazy how close they are in a lot of ways. Goff has 12 more games played than Dak, factoring that in and their stats are even closer. Not counting Dak's early career dual threat stats as Goff has never been a runner.

Oh and I forgot to mention.... Goff has 2 championship appearances with 2 different teams. I think we can all safely assume that if Dak played both another team, he would never recover and would be out of the league in a season or 2.
Dak started his career coached by Garrett and Jerry as his GM.. Goff started with McVay.
Enough said.
I agree Garrett was bad but Dak had an all-pro OL and offensive weapons his first 5 years and a good defense, yet not much to show for it regarding playoffs. It's not even close. Dak is the better QB, especially after playing under much lesser head coaches and a GM/owner. If Dak played under McVay or Campbell, he would have helped not only lead those Goff led teams to Super Bowls, but won them as well.
It definitely is not even close. Dak has achieved more stat-wise with much less than Goff has had to.
Superbowl appearance .
Just with that , its not even close .
Post season is what matters .
What good is having all that talent when the coaching is trash? Look at all the talent the Commanders had in 2000. They had a pro bowl team, but that couldn't override weak coaching.I agree Garrett was bad but Dak had an all-pro OL and offensive weapons his first 5 years and a good defense, yet not much to show for it regarding playoffs.
A good defense during Dak's first 5 years? Did you forget how horrible those defenses were? Those defenses cost us from advancing to the NFC championship game in 2016 during Dak's rookie year abd in 2018 and 2019. Did you forget?I agree Garrett was bad but Dak had an all-pro OL and offensive weapons his first 5 years and a good defense, yet not much to show for it regarding playoffs.
I have seen you make this argument many times and no-one answers you..Im am so glad you posted this.
Kaepernick has a Superbowl appearance. Clearly he was a better quarterback than Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and every NFL quarterback in history who has never reached a Superbowl...... according to your logic, correct?
Yes!! Yes!!! The post season is what matters the MOST!! My friend, we both agree on that and you have absolutely no arguments from me.
With THAT said.....
Your logic clearly backs up the argument that Trent Dilfer, Nick Foles and Brad Johnson were better quarterbacks than Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, etc..... because Trent Dilfer, Foles and Brad Johnson all won Superbowls....
Something that those other quarterbacks I've listed HAVE NOT done.
According to your post, there is no way you can dispute these facts, correct?
I have seen you make this argument many times and no-one answers you..
And yes it makes sense.. I am not going to say Johnson was better than Marino.. lol
But what I would say is.. if I was a fan of any of those teams.. those guys would hold a special place in my heart just coz they won a SB.
There is space for Dak.. if he ever wins one.
just for arguments sake.Goff's success in the Playoffs is the difference, but Dak is great value from a 4th round pick.
ehh. when he was the center of the rebuild they won 3 games lol. the following year they had the 2nd overall pick and the 12th overall pick. the former being hutch. and then 4 picks in the first two rounds the following year. that's the turnaround, not jared goff (imo) we'll see how dallas looks next year with 2 firsts (far later)He went to Lions and had no team, but took them to the playoffs in year 3, ending a significant drought and reaching the NFC Championship round, so no they are not the same. Goff was successful even during their major rebuild, closer Dak has come to a rebuild was 2018 and had t go get Amari bc he couldn't elevate others around him.

Read above, Goff has been through Major rebuilding one of the worst teams in NFL. So, yes, he has evidence that contradicts your claim.
can you cite the info? i tried looking and i only found this.I wouldn’t go that far! Dak’s winning percentage against teams who finished the season with a winning record is .333% while his record against teams with a losing record is .848%.
Goff’s winning percentage against teams with a winning record is .468% and his winning percentage against teams with a losing record is .773%. Fact is, Dak is terrible against better teams while stacking stats on the weaker teams! Goff has a much better percentage against tougher competition.
Dak 2 wins, 5 losses in playoffs. Dak does not have a second higher gear when the playoffs start. It's not even close. Dak is the better QB, especially after playing under much lesser head coaches and a GM/owner. If Dak played under McVay or Campbell, he would have helped not only lead those Goff led teams to Super Bowls, but won them as well.
