Oh, you want me to give you 13 straight Decembers for that team? You need 13 years to see a trend. Gosh, why didn't you say so?

Give me a minute, I need to count backwards for a few years.

Year 1...1-3
Year 2...1-2
Year 3...1-3
Year 4...1-4
Year 5...2-2
Year 6...0-3 plus a January loss.
Year 7...2-3
Year 8...2-2
Year 9...3-0 with a January win too. (Shocked me to know this.)
Year 10...0-4 with a January loss.
Year 11...3-2
Year 12...2-3 as I have already given you.
Year 13...2-2 as I have already given you.

Okay, give me your best guess trend, shot in the dark, superstition and voodoo prediction.

I can't wait.

Sigh...

Really??

Hos just let it go.

This weeks touch is more like a rape.

Get back on the high road buddy...friends are waiting.

Get back...

Get back...

Get back to where you once belonged

Oh I am sure he can't show me a trend. Why not? Because it is pure nonsense and superstition exactly as I have claimed and he denied.

Suddenly he needed more info than he originally claimed. I present it, and lo and behold he's logged off now. Maybe he'll get lucky and figure out which team in NFL History that refers to. That is the only way he has a snowball's chance in hell of backing up his claims of forseeable trends. Which would then back up my claim that he was just bashing the Cowboys to even claim he could see the trend happening again and it wasn't a shot in the dark.

He has repeatedly said he can see trends, yet "they aren't written in stone," He asked me how I make predictions and when I gave him a litany of things I look at, he suddenly needs some of those same things. 100% spin control. That all you ever get with him. He painted himself into the corner and it's my fault.

I find it highly ironic and comical.

At some point, it seems blind luck might kick in, and carry the Cowboys to a successful final quarter of the season.

Can we find a trend for luck?

i found a trend

in even years we lost at least 2 games and never finished above .500 in December.

This was the only trend I could muster up....i am going to assume that this is an even year.......and once again we have lost 2 games and cannot finish the month above .500.

Did you guys see the camera pan over to Jerry's box suite? One caption showed him with both hands covering his face. The last shot shown was of Jerry angrily tossing whatever it was in his hands off the table. You know he was pissed and rightfully so.

I didn't think the Cowboys played bad, but just not good enough. We indeed left points on the board. Thank you Nick Folk for once again shanking a makeable FG. And why did Garrett have Marion Barber take the handoff from the lead back position? Stupid.

If I had the opportunity to call the play, I would have put in Marcus Spears as the FB and ran Barber right behind him and Leonard Davis. Instead, the entire Charger's defense knew who was getting the ball. 10 points left on the field. Pathetic.

The Chargers were not the better team today, but they capitlized on what we couldn't. My hats off to them.

I've reached a point where I feel I've figured this team out. It's like when you're throwing darts or playing a game. And you're throwing pretty good but it's not your best stuff and you know it...but you can't seem to elevate to your best stuff and you can't figure out what's holding you back.

Dallas plays the same way, pretty good but they know it's not their best. I've never been a big Wade fan having seen what he did first hand with his time in Buffalo. After yesterday it just re-emphasized to myself how much Wade is a better career DC than a career HC and how a better HC may have been able to find a way to get me/Dallas to throw their best stuff.

A better HC, we may have two more wins right now.

If we find a way to beat New Orleans it might just be the medicine we need to turn the rest of the way around. It sure as hell would tell me we could beat anyone and it'd be a huge confidence boost. We'll see.

Haha, is that what billionaires look like when their mad? I've gotten more upset than that when I can't find a parking spot at the movies. Then again, that pen might have cost more than I get paid in a month, so he didn't want to bust it up too bad.

This thread has gotten way, way out of control by the way guys.

Not trying to criticize but how is it that what goes on on a message board can make one not be able to enjoy wins?

I have heard this a few times today and I don't know if I quite understand the mindset.

If the Boys would have knocked off the Giants and Chargers I would have been going crazy, no matter what the heck someone on a message board is saying.

You don't see it from the side of the moderators and administrators. You don't want to either, trust me. I hate, absolutely abhor when someone says "trust me". Immediate red flags.

In this case though, the experience is one you don't want to have. It sucks and it kills the spirit to have to read through all of it after a win because you've taken on the responsibility of moderator or site admin.

Yet that isn't what I am doing. The situation actually exists and it has you befuddled that you suddenly can't back up what you have previsouly claimed. Your alligator mouth wrote checks your flea *** can't cash.

And somehow that is my fault. Interesting.

:laugh2:

Oh Hos, you really are cute when you're butt hurt.

I find it highly comical the extent you will go when you are butt hurt. :laugh2:

You know, I said last week that trends can be broken. I really could careless if in your "scenario" if that team went 1-15 or 15-1 then next year. WGAS? I never said all trends would last forever.

I've stated time and again that I based my simple prediction on both our tough schedule and recent trends. Sorry if you are butt hurt yet again because it is happening to be true again.

Oh and I'd still like to hear how making an accurate prediction is somehow deemed "bashing" the Cowboys. Can you please explain that one for me buddy?

I have a college friend from Buffalo and I asked him about Wade's tenure there. He pointed out the playoff stuff, but basically said that he didn't seem to motivate the team as time progressed. What were your observations?

I acknowledged that in the post above. There was no need for you to say it again.

And I have told you 5 times now that I will not answer that silly question until you answer mine. Which you clearly cannot and will not do. I am not shocked about that by the way. So you can stop asking until that happens.

I'm really taken aback by that quote.

We are talking about strangers on the internet, how can their opinions possibly kill your spirit?

I can see getting bored, frustrated at the repetitiveness perhaps, but tearing at your spirit??

I wouldn't say it kills my spirit, but this has been my worst season as a moderator. Obviously, it's something I voluntarily signed up for, but it's brutal coming on here some days.

You mistake having you painted into a corner with butt hurt. I'm not hurt at all. I am highly amused at how you suddenly have nothing. You completely skip the post with exactly what you asked for, 13 years of Decembers. I knew you would BTW. I said as much. Thank you for proving me right yet again.

You guys think you have it rough? I can't pull myself away if I would like to and I DON'T have the power to delete the nonsense.

What's comical is how you are so butt hurt over the fact a trend exists for the Cowboys that you feel compelled to find some time in history with some other team where they might have broken their trend. I guess you want to prove that trends can be broken, which I have already stated that from the beginning. I'm just waiting for the Cowboys to break their current trend, but unfortunately it looks like we'll have to wait yet another year.

As for you silly question, I'll go with 13-3 for year three. Happy now? Maybe you can next ask me how many fingers you're holding up behind your back, as if that would somehow be relevant to the Cowboys current trend also.
