Trends are just tendencies. Sorry if you can't see that. And based on your simple two year overall records that you posted, it really isn't enough to go on. It's not like I just based by projection of the Cowboys on just two seasons with nothing more than two overall regular season records.

I mean, in your little scenario, what do the rosters look like? Who did the team draft or add as free agents in year one? How about in year two? How did the team finish over the second half on year two? Who did they add in the draft and in FA at the beginning of year three?

There's far more info that people look at when making an educated projection other than just the overall record for two seasons.

But I know, you're just butt hurt because some of us have been able to see a trend that apparently has escaped you and now you want to try and act like it was just a shot in the dark. Yeah, you're probably right. I just got lucky, again.

I don't see any other headcoach doing better than Philips. Parcells was in here not too long ago and I really feel that he was burned out because this is a dumb football team and there are alot of players that think they are better than they really are. Adams is lazy and Jones overpaid for him because he had to. Newman and Barber are not what they used to be 2 years ago and are no longer worth their salary. Hamlin downright sucks. If there is no salary cap next year, Jones needs to cut Adams and Hamlin to send a message to other members of the team that underacheiving will not be tolerated. It's okay to lose if the team gives it everything it has and comes up short, but the lax attitude and mental errors are infuriating. Free will be a decent option at LT, Choice would probably surpass Barber's production, and I am sure a draft pick would exceed Hamlin's play. Barber and Newman should both be traded with the picks being used to move up and take a Corner if Scandrick is still not ready.

The franchise has seemed to be "on the verge" of something special for several years now ... as if they were just about to turn the corner and become an outstanding football team ... but then, somehow, they manage to faulter.

Disappointing and frustrating ....

It is as if they are good enough, but that they just can't play well enough.
