Oh and one other small thing. How is it that anyone on these boards can take the joy of a win away from some one? Yeah people are negative even in wins, and sometimes it's very annoying, but it's never taken the joy out of actually winning. I can't imagine how anyone on the internet, or even standing right in front of you honestly, could accomplish such a thing.

Join the staff for one month. You'd understand.

Chin up Hos. There will be brighter days ahead. I don't know how far ahead but they'll be here. Fans are fans. I'm trying to learn that myself. I'm slow to it at times but thats how it goes.

We're all fans and we've got completely different ways of celebrating wins or dealing with losses and all that. It's best to take whatever the best stuff you can get out of everyones opinions and thoughts on things and just go about it. Have fun debating things with people. The ones that just say things that are really annoying or whatever just have fun with it, whatever way you can.

It's tough. No doubt. But I guess that's part of being a fan.

Like I said there will be brighter days. Today just isn't going to be one of them.

Maybe we could just focus on trying to win enough games in the regular season on a consistent basis before we worry about playoff wins.

Jerry will do almost anything to avoid having a bigger and more competent personality than himself in Dallas again. Although seemingly impossible, the vainglorious huckster has become an even bigger ego maniac than the guy that could "coach the Cowboys himself" in the mid 90's. He hated conceding the lime lite to both Parcells and Johnson and probably will not go that route again until his dementia finally gets the better of him and Stephen takes a "greater advisory role".

It's absolutely sickening what that man's ego has done to this franchise. He just couldn't be content with being a winning owner. He just had to try to run it himself and his quest for the limelight has been one of the main factors that has kept us from winning the last decade+.

And I always love the people who still say Jerry is the best owner and will do anything it takes to win, when it's total B.S. Doing all you can to win would mean hiring a quality GM and not meddling in the coaching decisions. So people can spare the the line that he does all he can to win until he actually puts the team ahead of himself.

Yeah, Garrett has 13 Pro Bowlers on an 11 man Offense.

I'm sorry, that was hilarious. Oh and this year I think he has 2 maybe 3.

It's the HC. Always has been and always will be. When you listen to his press conference, the D failed because Ware was injured. He mentioned that if he held them to 20 points, that we'd have a chance which was an underhanded slight against JG and the offense. He's an excuse maker and the team has taken on his persona. I know it's an overused cliche but I think it's true.

What I think is more inexcusable is that, to this day and with all our woes, we continue to underestimate the importance of a strong HC who is a leader. How can this happen considering the impact of Landry, Johnson and, to a lesser extent, BP who had to help rebuild the franchise? It's because of Jerry's need to be in total control that he hires a weak HC and we've seen the results on multiple occassions in the post Jimmy Johnson era. To me, I'm not as concerned with the X's and O's if/when JG takes over as I am with the hope that he's a strong leader.

Jerry has never fired a coach during the season. Maybe I'm being drastic, but Wade needs to go and go now. Give JG the reigns and lets see what he does with it and how he (and the team) responds with the season on the line. This team does not respond to Wade except in the media, not on the field where it matters.
