Great teams overcome injuries.

Maybe the problem is that we're not a great team, that Jeff Ireland wasn't a draft genius, and that we have a bunch of mediocre players who play "stupid," in Parcell's words, that no amount of couching can change?

I certainly hope that all that is necessary is a change at the top but I'm becoming increasingly skeptical, especially with respect to the defensive side of the ball.

Can someone tell me how JJ undermines the coaches? Do any of you know whether assistant coaches come to JJ and complain about the head coach? Where is the evidence that he does such things?

Greg Ellis has to go - he's the common theme here past decade. And I'm tired of all his whining. He said a few things leading into this game that should have had him benched - that is on Wade.

Bradie James - Demote your run stuffer. We aren't stuffing anything. Next in. Our defense lacks leadership - Hamlin closest we have.

Flozell - does he care? Heck its the same two to 3 stupid penaltieseach week running for a decade. We are behind 3-0 every game going in on him - Penalty field position.

JJ - Someone needs to take away hais trade panic button. Trading away half your draft for a Matt Millens castoff is borderline insane. That sent a panic message to players and he lost 3/4th of his existing WR's in the process.

JJ - Great call on going with 40 year old Brad Johnson - kudo's for addressing developmental QB's past 2 seasons. You dropped the ball huge there.

JJ - Pacman, great message to team bringing in this clown. Whats next Odell Thurman and Chris Henry? Rae Carruth and Michael Vick looking good on the Pen U team.

I'm not as down as the coaches as the lynch mob. These same knuckleheads won 13 games.

Here's a recent letter to Czabe.com. If anything, Jerry got off easy.

He’s constantly meddling in personnel affairs, he paces the sidelines and talks to players and coaches during games when he should be nowhere near them, and he seeks out the media spotlight to make his asinine opinions public.

A great owner puts the right people in place, hires competent and knowledgeable staff, and then gets the hell out of the way. Lousy owners hire “yes men” or their buddies to run the team and then constantly stick their nose in where it doesn’t belong. You should hear from an owner about 2 or 3 times during the offseason and then maybe once a month during the season. That’s it. And they should never be commenting on specific players, it should be generic sound bites speaking in generalities.

Watch Hard Knocks - he fancies himself a "football guy". Best was the Tyson Walters speech! All his public outbursts, on field stuff and yesterdays post game stuff. He is always going Lacell, Campo etc and good ol boys. He's a few years away from Al Davis esque.

Took dominant coaches like Parcells/Johnson to stand up to him.
