Hell no you aren't scared. You've got Irv and revolving doors in your favor. I just have my own dumb luck.

I just think anger at Jerry is misplaced. We have drafted well. A sign of good management. We have sgned Free Agents who can help this team. A sign of good management. We are not in cap trouble. A sign of good management.

We have too many penalties. A sign of poor coaching. We are playing too soft. A sign of poor coaching. We re not executing well. A sign of poor coaching.

Wade is resting on his 13-3 laurels and thinking the team will do what he leaves undone.

Who's angry?

:)

Well, then interestingly enough, there was poor coaching under Parcells also because all the problems you listed, existed then too.

Who chooses the coach of the Dallas Cowboys?

I'm with you, Hos. I've continually defended and patiently waited for Wade and co. to pull this thing together and get the ball rolling but, the only problem is they're going backwards! For the Dallas Cowboys to be sitting @ 4-3 after playing the likes of WSH, StL, AZ, and Cincy is INEXCUSEABLE!! Yesterday was the first time I've EVER cut off a game by halftime (shoot, period) because I was physically disgusted by what I was watching ( I heard from a few giddy Skins' fans that FOX cut it short in the 3rd Q anyway for the SF/NYG game)! We're quickly becoming the laughingstock of the NFL and if WP, JG, BS, HH, etc. don't "git er dun" then they need to get the hell outta Valley Ranch...and the same can be said of our increasing underachieving roster! How quickly the mighty have fallen...from 3-0 and the "darlings" of the NFL to 4-3 and the weekly joke of the NFL!!

I think Parcells over coached and Wade is under coaching. I don't think either are incapable fo doing the job right with the talent assembled.

Oh and Hos, who just said he's going to keep the coach around?

Jerry Jones: Wade Phillips 'absolutely' will finish season

Tim MacMahon E-mail News tips
Jerry Jones hasn't changed his mind about keeping the head coach around after a night of surely restless sleep.
"Absolutely, he's going to finish the season," Jerry told DMN business reporter Brendan M. Case on a conference call about the Cowboys' business venture with the New York Yankees.
We'll see whether Jerry sticks to his guns if the Cowboys have a four-game losing streak and sub-.500 record entering the bye week.

I have to be honest and say that I would prefer overcoaching over undercoaching right now. Overcoaching may be the result of trying to outcoach the opponent, but at least you can see the wheels spinning in the head coaches eyes during the game.

My question to everyone is if Jones were to can Phillips, which assistant would be elevate to interim head coach? Not even Jerry Jones would bring in another head coach at midseason (or at least I can't see him taking that step).

and therein lies the problem. finishing the season when everybody knows that this is wade's last year with boy wonder jason waiting in the wings to take over. the players know this and their intensity shows. wade has zero authority thanks to Jerry. if i was jerry i would demote wade to dc and name myself head coach. how worse can it get? and that should quiet all the snickering.

Yep. In any organization, the tone is set from the top down.

Jerry has always undermined his coaches by being too involved.

Jerry Jones has undermined his coaches by not even allowing his head coaches to pick their own staff.

Hey, I fixed that quote for ya at the bottom of your post. For some reason, the type came out small. :D

Remember when that was "no big deal".

Things come back to haunt you, this is the type of stuff that always haunts Jones. He just never learns.

Hos, you saved me a few key strokes. I am so angry right now.
Amen to everything you said, except i'm not sure that Bollinger will give us a better chance.

BTW, you should get angry more often. It suits you well. Good for this forum, bad for your heart. :D

You know it's really bad when, at the end of the 3rd quarter of the Dallas Game, Fox switches to the Niner-Giant game for a "more competitive game." I live in Charleston, WV.
