Once this team, not the Cowboys historically start to lose, they don't bounce back. That is why the Eagles reference. How many years were the Eagles left for dead? Only to come back and make the playoffs.

They dont bounce back because they started to decline in December. Im hoping they bounce a bit early and figure it out later and come out strong.

When the Giants did their SB run, they didnt beat 1 good team in the regular season, they backed into the playoffs and played 4 games that year.

The SB is never won on your record, its never won on how hot you start, or how you end. If you make the playoffs you start a new.

Not too worried, our top two R Bs were out as well as our #1 WR ,bad play calling and bad breaks .Romo was off his game . If O U can win the rest of the yr in college with two early losses ,i like our chances.

pfft. Our RB was only out for the fourth quarter and our "#1 WR" only missed the last half of the last drive.

And the reason he was out was because Romo can't throw to save his life. He's all over the place and if we are honest with ourselves, he hasn't looked right since his pinky injury.

And coming from a huge OU fan, they will be EXTREMELY lucky to win out, and are more inclined to lose two more if not more.

It's time to wake up and face what we really are. Romo is a bad qb, we have an old line, a defense that doesn't get sacks or turnovers, and no WRs. We will be lucky to be 8-8.

Great post, and I have been a very optimistic person so far this year.

But not only do we need to stop living in the 90's we need to stop living in 2007.

We're not a 13-3 team. We're a 9-7 team and I was dead wrong to think otherwise.

I'm done getting upset with this team, because I am officially lowering my expectations. I'm not expecting a Super Bowl, I'm not expecting a playoff win, I'm not even expecting a playoff appearance.

I'm going to pretend this is 2005 all over again, and I'm just going to be happy with each and every win. As another poster pointed out, it is like 2005 all over again. We couldn't punch the ball in the end zone against Denver just like we couldnt punch it in the end zone agains Oakland in 2005.

My expectations for this team are simple. Just try to win as many games a possible. But anything more than that is going to be a surprise for me.

You scream i dont get it yet you prove how idiotic you sound. The Eagles have won nothing, you dont get credit for play off wins. And i just said it if you read it, When the Giants won the last SB, they fell into the playoffs and decided to play the last 4 games.

I dont care what your adversity is, the bottom line is you dont get the SB on that. Seattle had adversity and got creamed in the SB. The packers had adversity and got killed by the Giants. Adversity doesnt win you games. TD's and the refs make that decision.

Our biggest problems have been the red zone's on offense and 3rd and longs on defense.

Garretts biggest problems is not calling plays, it is execution and the players have got to do that. Why did Crayton run out from a punter? Why didnt Hurd try to get a few more yards. Why is Sherman and Wade Wilson still coaches? Its not always the big pieces to a team, sometimes its the little cogs you dont see.

Nothing wrong with this thread and not a knock on the OP.

Here is my realism though. We are 2-2 and we are not out of it yet by any stretch, nor are we assured that we will not have the first pick in the draft.

I can wear silver colored glasses or doom and gloom glasses, but neither of those will have any bearing on the rest of the season. The Cowboys are going to do what the Cowboys are going to do.

So until we are out, I am riding the bandwagon. I will talk smack about the Cowboys if we get eliminated or serve some crow if Dallas makes something of this season.

Yeah, I'm a fan I can do whatever I want to.
