okay thats not true...before sean died he was the leading vote getter among safetys, this has been documented many times throughout the media.

Taylor was the leader among FREE safeties. He was NOT the leader among all safeties.

second, adam, do you REALLY HONESTLY think Roy Williams was a better safety than Sean Taylor this year?

I've never said that even a single time.

How is Romo not starting?
Dude, it's Brett Favre. He set all kinds of records and was playing out of him mind as a 38 year old. Of course he's going to get the votes, regardless of who played better.

This is precisely your problem. Turn off ESPN.

ill take john claytons opinion over yours. you lost all credibility when you said ST is one of the worst in the game

if sean taylor was still playing roy wouldn't be in the probowl this year. he's not a probowl player this year. you know it as well as half of this board knows it or has the balls to admit it. you don't have the balls to admit it.

Here's more on the voting for Taylor --

Although some media reports indicated that Taylor was the leading vote-getter at "safety," they should have said he was leading at "free safety."

Here were the leading vote-getters with one month remaining in the voting --

http://www.packers.com/news/releases/2007/11/15/1/

SS Roy Williams, Cowboys -- 108,450
FS Sean Taylor, Commanders -- 93,639

And with two weeks remaining, when the NFL at first removed Taylor from the list --

http://www.packers.com/news/releases/2007/11/29/1/

SS Roy Williams, Cowboys -- 166,926
FS Brian Dawkins, Eagles -- 100,259

The NFL later put Taylor back on the list, and he led the free safeties with 129,605 votes.

SS Roy Williams, Cowboys -- 203,881
FS Sean Taylor, Commanders -- 187,064

And the final tallies on Dec. 11 --

Sean Taylor is no longer in the league, and this argument if beyond passing stupid.

Whether or not Roy Williams is a probowl player this year is definitional. It's not a subjective topic for you to debate. It's an objective fact. Look around at the people on the board who are agreeing with you. Compare them with the people who are lined up against you. Quit embarrassing yourself, and quit using a thread that should be a congratulation for the hard work of the 12 players on this team who were recognized for their performance this year as another excuse to bash on a member of the team you're supposed to be such a fan of.

i used to be a huge fan of him. but i'm tired of making excuses for him and see he is hurting this team.
