When talking go routs and post routs RW has speed enough to beat his man. Your claim that RW can't beat people deep is stupid and false. Quickness in and out of breaks being able to accelate out of the breaks RW is not as good as Austin. Austin shows better quickness coming out of his routs. There is a differance between quickness and speed your claim was RW was slow that is non sense but it is not shocking coming from you.

Cite a few examples of Roy Williams beating somebody deep in Dallas.

Not wasting my time watching a youtube reel of plays from Detroit.

IN DALLAS. Do you not read posts before you respond?

He has not been doing good, if he had we would not be seeing the daily threads. Just as it was with Romo a couple of weeks back the jackals’ came calling for his head.

I read just fine thank you but you wanted prove I gave you some you choose not to watch it fine with me I'm accustom to your simple minded ways.

Everything Roy Williams has done is in the past. If it's not how "good" he was in Detroit, it's how amazing he was at Texas. What has he done in Dallas?

In many ways he is the perfect player for the Dallas Cowboys. It's all about what the Cowboys used to do, just like it's all about what Roy Williams used to do.

No kidding. Bucs fans waited patiently for the Dallas version of Alvin Harper to show up. They're still waiting.

Romo: Cowboys core too strong to be divided

David Moore/Reporter

Quarterback Tony Romo fielded several questions about his inability to click with Roy Williams. After answering two of them, he was asked why he believes Williams' numbers are so low.

"I don't look at the numbers,'' Romo said. "I don't know what would be good numbers and what wouldn't be.

"You know, we've been through this before with people trying to intersect and divide us as a football team. This team is too strong from the core.

"I know the media is going to make certain things appear what they may not have actually been or things of that nature. This team is too committed to winning and too committed to improving to let anything like that or anything you guys may present to us divide this team.

"We're just going to keep improving and getting better and we'll be ready to go this weekend.''

Roy Williams, Tony Romo throwing after practice

Todd Archer/Reporter

In an attempt to jump start their production, Roy Williams and Tony Romo stayed late after Wednesday's practice to improve their on-field chemistry.

"We worked extra after practice yesterday and we're going to do the same thing today," Williams said. "That'll be our trend for the rest of the year until that light switches over."

That's a good thing but I know some people will say, Why haven't they been doing that all along? Big deal. It's important that they recognize it now and they're doing something about it. Much has been made about what Williams said Wednesday - too much in my opinion - and some have painted him as another Terrell Owens.

"I'm not saying it can't be fixed," Williams said. "That's what we're doing. I'm not a T.O. I'm not trying to be a T.O. I'm happy to win. I've said that a hundred times. I don't understand why people don't say, 'OK.' I'm a football player, and I'm trying to get this thing working."

 Yeah whatever. We've got to continuously deal with extra time, attention, resources, and the like to get this clown on the same page as Romo... After hearing of the "extra" time they spent working in the off-season I have zero confidence that this will make a difference. If somehow the lightbulb comes on and RW figures out how to put his best effort into route running, catch balls thrown his way, realize he is not the #1 WR, and begins to understand that he is the only person having issues receiving Romo's passes.. then and only then might there be a light at the end of his overinflated tunnel. He is well into what can be considered a year with the team. Having come in midway through last season, he has had all offseason to figure it out after having been exposed to the system for the 2nd half of last year. There should have been no reason for him to stumble out of the gates this year.... zero.. zilch.. Yet here we are.. still wondering if the 45 million dollar man will learn how to accentuate his awesomely good downfield blocking..... Losing a 1st and a 3rd really hurts when you consider what we're having to deal with at present. Call it overreaction of you prefer. The bottom line is we paid #1 WR money and draft picks for a #2 complimentary WR that blocks exceptionally downfield. YAY

RW - 6th season, 12 games with the Boys. 33 rec, 447 yards.

Just for the record since the shills will point to his "newness" on the team as a contributing reason why he happens to be the only person having issues connecting with Romo...

These people don't seem to be having an issue catching Romo's passes...

Tashard Choice - 2nd season. 34 rec, 300 yards with the Boys
Felix Jones - 2nd season. played in 11 games. 6 rec, 66 yards with the Boys
Kevin Ogletree - Rook
