Man I hope this does not happen. I was ok with Murray walking for the money, but going to Philly? If he does this, he instantly becomes enemy #1.

BTW, if this makes the Spiller thing a reality, I will not be pleased.

The defect on our defense to me means we need a Hardy himself or a Hardy type of player big time now. We have either let the average Joe's walk or they left on their own. Only so many of them out there.

Hardy is all that's left. The rest of the pass rushers have been signed. And I have no interest in overpaying for one of the 6-sack guys remaining.

It doesn't bother me much other than the fact that if he went outside the NFC East, I would have rooted for him a bit on the side. But now I will have to hate him. He may do well there, but Philly OL aint no Dallas OL. Whoever ends up our feature back will have a damn fine season (and by that I mean 1300 yards and 10 TDs). Whether that be Randle, Williams, Peterson or some other FA or even a draft pick. Mark it down. We will be fine folks. Let's just get this D clicking and come into the season roaring!

I believe this discredits Murray more than he deserves. Yes, we have a very good line, but running backs don't luck into 1,800 yards rushing. If Randle ends up being our No. 1 plan to replace Murray, I will be very upset.

I have a feeling that if (and i dont say we will) sign hardy we wont overpay.
For one because that is our strategy and second: if hardys of the field problems werent a concern he would have been signed already.

This was the one guy where I felt like it's a win/win if he stays or if he goes....I just hope jerry doesn't do the stupid thing and go after ap....I would rather sign a guy like spiller and draft one of the top two rbs.....if not top two top 4-5 range

Obviously we don't want Murray running all over us the way many teams with solid RB's have in the recent past. This just makes it that much more urgent to fix the defensive line. I'd love to hold Murray to minimal yards when we play them. Not to mention rack up 100+ yard games with his soon to be replacement.

I don't want us to be the ones swallowing the bitter pill when we play the Eagles. We need to come out on top in this scenario not the Eagles.

I guess this would be comparable to when Edgerrin James left the Colts. Hopefully the same results happen for us that happened to the Colts that following season. James was coming off of a 1500 yard, 13 TD season and was the same age as Demarco is now.
