With our Olines ability to block and CJ Spillers ability once he gets to the 2nd level it could be a deadly combo.

I think he'd kill it here.

Absolutely...not sure what casual fan doesn't understand...spiller would be a great pickup

We'll see but I find it hard to believe Stephen /Jerry dont have a clear plan given their hard stance in dealing with Murray. It's almost like the scenario played out as expected.

He carried us for a good part of the season...

Who cares, now we all need to hope he breaks both legs. That SOB is trying to do what he sees as best for him, even though Zonemembers know better than he does what's best for him.;)

Bottom line: it would be patently stupid to pay big money to Murray with so many options at RB out there and so many other needs on the team.

That $7 million could go to Dez' deal. It could buy defensive help. And it will be there each year for other needs.

I like Murray. But Dallas is making the right football and business decision here.

Murray will thrive in Philly if he stays healthy. Their OL isn't awful like some here think. And Murray was one of the top RBs in the league out of the shotgun, which Philly uses exclusively.

I am fine with him leaving but I won't be blind to the fact that he makes the Eagles better.

This was the one guy where I felt like it's a win/win if he stays or if he goes....I just hope jerry doesn't do the stupid thing and go after ap....I would rather sign a guy like spiller and draft one of the top two rbs.....if not top two top 4-5 range

Maybe it's stupid, but I'm all for it. A phenomenal talent who actually wants to be in Dallas. I know there's some risk because of his age, but I'd take it.

If Matthews is signed, then Murray, how on earth can they justify $12 million or more on two running backs? No wonder Eagles fans are going crazy.

Kelly may think that he traded for Jamelle Holieway instead of Sam Bradford, and he's going with the wishbone.

I'm actually excited. Sign there DeMarco. I'm now ready to see where our $8-9 million in space goes...AP, Spiller, Hardy, mid-levels?

And that leads me to believe that the Peterson to Dallas bandwagon has just gained that much more momentum.

Just my opinion.

It's so odd that most of you suddenly thing Demarco sucks now. If he does end up resigning with you guys today, then what? Does he still suck or is the best RB in the league again?

I ask honestly.

I could not agree more with everything you just said.

I don't want Spiller. Not because I don't think he can produce here, but because he's not a feature back and his signing would mean a return to a two back system.

This is the only argument against spiller....I can understand this point of view
