ESPN's Adam Schefter said the door is not shut on an Adrian Peterson trade.
The Vikings have played extreme hardball publicly, strongly intimating there's no way they'll trade Peterson. But if someone like the Cardinals or Bucs blows them away with an offer Thursday night, it could be hard to say no when Peterson is both disgruntled and extremely expensive. Schefter wants to see the first round "come and go" before he's sure Peterson will remain a Viking.

I have no idea why the Bucs re even being mentioned, no chance Peterson would play there.

I had no problem letting Murray walk; but I was thinking they would pick up someone proven.

And I do think there is a real possibility that we slip a little this year if we miss on the rookie. And even if we dont miss, I still think we slip a little. I am getting ready to see Romo drop back to pass more this year,

Just because Murray is the lead back doesn't mean that the coaching staff is going to scrap their system. Relax. The FO has a plan, they are sticking to their guns. This weekend will prove that. Either they deal for AD or draft a rookie RB.

Yep. Merely pissin in the wind. Who the heck knows? Just hope this year the draft falls the way we all want it to. Usually the guys the Cowboys are targeting are already taken. Although I'm not going to complain about last year's 1st round gem.

And I sure won't either. Martin turned out to be some consolation prize!

It clearly looks to me like we have smarter people involved in the decision making process. Now I just hope we have some people who can do a better job of scouting cornerbacks.
