After watching the Saints game tonight....

The Panthers actually played them tough in their first meeting, and if they're still perfect to that point, Carolina will be gunning for them in what would otherwise be a meaningless game.

That secondary has played terrible. Not much the Pats did wrong tonight?

They are playing like they aren't using corners on the WR's. Amazing

Their secondary is what it is... they're not very good.

Anyway, I was more referring more to the offense I just didn't convey that correctly. They're offense had little error in the area of penalties/ shooting themselves in the foot (something which is an Achilles heel of ours). The saints game plan was just better.

But I did forget about the turning point of the game-- early on when Brady threw that int. I thought for sure they were going to go down and take command of the game early, but they failed to do that.

The only way to beat them if they play like this is to control the ball for 40 minutes, aka run the ball all game long.

I can't wait to play these Saints. This should be fun. Nothing like playing the top dog :)

What a statement that will make for us.

These guys have punched themselves out. Opps, before I can even finish this post, another pick !

Excellent !
I think Dallas has the horses to play with NO, but will make too many stupid mistakes to win in the end.

While most will point to the Saints offense - I just gotta say...

their defense was laying the wood to the Patriots. Especially in the defensive secondary. Those guys meant business tonight.

The Saints look very nasty and I'd be impressed if the 'Boys even play them close on the road. *ducks*

New Orleans is going to destroy us. From the looks of things, everyone else is playing for second in the NFC. The Saints are in a class by themselves.

Very discouraging, to say the least

Mark my word...our D will Handle them!.....14-17 points at most......

Score will be 28-14

Good post. Yeah the Pats were REALLY sloppy and I wasn't expecting that from a Bellychek team tonight.

Brady was frazzled. The pressure the Saints put him under was amazing. You have to tip your hat to Greg Williams. He called one heck of a defensive game tonight.

What I can't understand is the Saints D. They have NEVER played this good all year. They went straight up man w/ the Pats. I was shocked to see that to be honest w/ the messed up secondary they have. They were JACKED for this game and Payton had them WELL prepared.

I will never ever concede a defeat to another team before we play them. I look around our site tonight and there are vet posters ceding an automatic loss to the Saints and we haven't even played a down against them yet.

I love the Cowboys and my heart is w/ my team. Please excuse me if I think we go into NO and beat the WhoDatBrees and Co. :D

Titans blew out the Steelers last year around this time and everyone was saying stuff like you are now.

Saints are good but they haven't won anything yet. I hope they think they did though.

Horrible comparison. Tennessee won a ton of close games and never looked as dominant as NO does right now.

They are just unstoppable in the dome

Greg Williams called a very good game. Brady can't avoid the pass rush very well, or make plays with his legs-- something Romo actually CAN do. Besides, I have this crazy feeling the Saints will start to falter for some reason.

Even after that, the team I fear most is Minnesota.

Chalking up a loss as automatic is a loser mentality, one I'm pretty sure Brookings Ware, Romo, Witten et al will not let this team have.

Some fans on the other hand.....

Nah Tennessee was the best team in the regular season last year. It was a great comparison.

Yeah, no reason to believe this group as a loser mentality. None at all...

Oh, Philly called. They request that we bring the same winning mentality to the season finale this year that we did last season.

Record wise, yes. They didnt look nearly as impressive as NO, though.

What's that yellow streak down your back?

Oh and what does this have to do with this year's team?
