Record wise, yes. They didnt look nearly as impressive as NO, though.

Man I have no problem giving the Saints credit but why start crying and just say things like Waaaah we are gonna lose to these guys Waaaaah.

We have a experienced team that is loaded with talent and we can beat anyone.

it's a game I think everybody is looking forward to.

The only thing we have going for us as a considerable edge is that we may be able to run the ball just enough to win against them. The question should be would you rather the Cowboys win in the regular season or the playoffs. I too believe we can beat this team, they are a beatable team if you play right.

However it's hard to not be convinced now that the Saints are in a class by themselves. I think if the Superbowl goes through New Orleans, I want to beat them in the playoffs when it counts. Because it's going to be insanely difficult to beat this team twice in one season.

(Only get these type of vibes because I remember how we were asked to beat the Giants three times in one season. And that's just asking a lot of anybody).

Yeah, no reason to believe this group as a loser mentality. None at all...

Oh, Philly called. They request that we bring the same winning mentality to the season finale this year that we did last season.

See that's your problem bro. You live in the past.

Everything about you says LAST SEASON. It's your excuse for every argument you fling up here hoping some sap will believe.

:laugh2:

It's funny seeing how absolute you are w/ your idiocy and lack of the team mentality.

Of course I know the crap you post here is just for attention. Just look how many folks come in and debate the troll.

Chalking up a loss as automatic is a loser mentality, one I'm pretty sure Brookings Ware, Romo, Witten et al will not let this team have.

Some fans on the other hand.....

It doesn't matter a hoot what any individual fan thinks. The ONLY relevant mindset is within the roster and coaching staff.

My remarks are merely from the standpoint of a fan whose only investment is purely emotional. Kinda like a bettor.

I get that.

I'd love to see the 'Boys put a wrinkle in the N.O. hopes for a perfect season - few things would tickle me more.

But I just don't see it happening from my current perspective.

Appy-polly-ogees.

the 2007 N.Y. Giants were to the Patriots???? What does it take to beat the Saints? A physical defense that can put pressure on the QB. Check. A good running game that can chew up the clock and keep their offense off the field. Check. An explosive passing game that can hit the big play when needed. Check. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying we will beat the Saints, but we are probably one of the teams built to beat a team like the Saints. Time will tell.

So do the Patriots.

Good for them.

Ill give the Saints credit when they blow my team out and im sorry but I dont think they can.

I dont think they can stop our pass rush and I have all the confidence in Newman and Jenkins as a cornerback tandem.

I love the matchups all around the board.

We have one more big plus that the Patriots don't have. A mobile QB that isn't a sitting duck in the pocket.

What's that yellow streak down your back?

Oh and what does this have to do with this year's team?

How does my mindset, or your perception of my mindset for that matter, have any bearing on this team's performance? It doesnt.

The fact remains that Wade and this team have proven time and again that they fold under late season pressure, and now you're expecting to go on the road, in December, and beat the best team in football? Good for you, I wish I had that kind of blind optimism. Problem is, our team has shown they don't have a win at all costs mentality in December.

Looking at the rest of the schedule...we might be the only team to have a shot at to destroy their perfect season.

They play Washington, Atlanta, Dallas, Tampa and Carolina.

That would be awesome to beat them. :)

If we don't beat them, they will most likely go 16-0, unless they rest all their starters in the last game or two. I'm not sure I'd want to go into the playoffs undefeated. It's an odds game.

Same coach, same OC, same core team, and we have shown the same mistake prone tendencies we have over the past several years in our first 11 games.

4 years of December ineptitude isnt something to scoff at

**** it why not?

I have no idea who is going to win because its going to be 2 good teams playing.

If we play our best game and so do they than I like the Cowboys.

The more they throw the more it plays into our hands.

Alright man we'll see. But just because the Patriots threw up their skirts on National television doesn't mean Dallas will.

Nobody won the Superbowl tonight.

We have a better defense than New England too. They wont walk up and down the field on us like that.

Dont forget Brooking has played against Brees twice a year since Brees went to New Orleans too.

Again, good for you guys. I wish I had this kind of blind, go for broke optimism.

New Orleans is just so much better than us. How can you possibly say that we could beat them if both teams play their best.

And how can both teams play their best? If one team plays great, that means the other team isnt doing that well.

Now you're putting words in my mouth.

Where did I say we'll beat the Saints? That's right I didn't. I'm just not conceding anything until we lose the game.

And while what we think has no bearing on the outcome, your absolutism on all things football really shows your lack of understanding of the game.
