I'm sorry ,I don't. I think he goes a little overboard to try and show that he is not biased, and it shows.

i think he's just saying what's on his mind and people get offended cause he's not a cowboys cheerleader. yes, i think he's as objective as he can be. i think *fans* misread him cause they get upset he says something bad about the cowboys.

i can hear troy say 10 good things about the cowboys, but as soon as i hear ONE bad thing, i know there will be a thread in here that whines about the 1 bad thing and ignores the 10 compliments.

Without reading through 6 pages of whatever, I'll just say that if you don't believe Troy is a homer, then tune in to the 1310theticket.com (I think that's the site name) and he gives his weekly interview with the Musers in the morning..

He said he was basically depressed after that game and he just stood there for a long time after the game in shock.

That sounds like a Cowboys fan to me. Just when he has to give interviews outside of the metroplex, he has to come off as un-biased. Why is this so hard to understand from some?

I slightly disagree. As my folks used to say to me, "Don't let your mouth overload your butt". Irvin had a sweet gig at ESPN, but he allowed his mouth to spout off speculating about Romo's heritage. He may have been joking. He may not have. Either way, it's irrelevant. The problem is that he should have stopped himself from talking about it publicly and he caused himself to get canned. Poor judgment caused him to lose the national commentary spotlight, not his devotion to the franchise, imo.
