FWIW, your view ignores the fact that Hos has listed, numerous times now, factual statements from Aikman's own broadcasts that counter the views of those who are whining. Why don't they engage those statements? Because it doesn't square with their little conspiracy theory.

And if you are paying attention to what I'M saying, then you will notice that I said, CRITICIZE AIKMAN all you WANT, I don't give a rip, tater chip. Doesn't bother me a bit. I take no issue with those who just prefer other announcers. What I take issue with is the whole, "Troy doesn't say what I like him to say about our Cowboys.", all the while completely ignoring the positive things he has said, and WE HAVE IT ON RECORD.

Either engage Hos' factual points, or give up the conspiracy garbage. If that makes someone a jock sniffer I suggest you start sniffing, you will realize it is smelling salts you are sniffing once you come to your senses.

I think I understand now where I was confusing. What I meant was, what I don't think your statement takes into account is that the reason why we are saying that some people have been whining is NOT that they don't like Troy Aikman. The reason I have said they have been whining is because they keep saying that Troy bashes the Cowboys. All the while ignoring statements that Aikman has made in his broadcast that PRAISE the Cowboys. They ignore all of that to cling to the idea that Aikman is a Cowboys basher. It seemed to me that YOU lumped all of those who say that is whining into a "jock sniffing" group of Aikman lovers who want everyone to love Troy as an announcer.

I don't disagree with Hos' analysis at all. Some don't like Aikman because he is not an absolute homer as a broadcaster and that is childish.

That, however, is not why I don't like Aikman and the fact that you said I didn't take Hos' analysis into account, lead me to believe, you were lumping me into that whole crowd.

I simply don't like Aikman as an announcer and it has nothing to do with his homerism, or lack thereof.

as i posted earlier, i dont like Aikman cause always states the OBVIOUS, and he rambles on and on like we dont know crap about football, lot of times he keeps rambling on till the snap of the next play. those are my reasons? so what does that make me?? a whiner, a crybaby? a ????
