Alarming stat downplays Dak Prescott's passing ability

I would like for dak supporters to watch the gb game during season last year and defend dak's play in that game.
If you dont have it I could up it to youtube as a private vid.
I am going to watch some more games from last season, so I can see if there are any drops that were decent passes.

I blame many of those on his shoulder injury.

I think you can also make a case that if you throw for a lot of yards you are consistent. Sure we can elaborate on some egregious throws but his good passes obviously eclipse the bad passes he has made to date. That is why you have completion percentage and other stats.

Dak may not be the absolute top quarterback in the league but he is certainly right up there with the better and very productive quarterbacks.

So what did Storm have the Dolphins at? But the should have been INTs By Dak is a ‘joke’, even though more than one had him at least top 3, including Football Outsiders...

Isnt this the game we should have played with a capable backup if we had one? Dak had an injury to the throwing arm/ shoulder? ... ok, may be then may be not all WRs fault .

We didn't have a capable backup on the roster and if we did and he put it in their hands and they dropped it the outcome would have been the same

Drops happen to every QB. It evens out over a season.

If Dak has WRs with rhe most drops why not questioning him also ? Maybe his ball placement or his missing touch is also a reason for the drops?!

Pretty easy to hang everything on one side just to fit an agenda.

I'd agree it's fair to say that -- there's no doubt but what Dak and his WRs are both liable for their fair share of drops. I'm sure they're all going to do all they can to correct that problem. The new coaching staff can probably be counted on to help with that. I really have no agenda; just trying to discern what can be done to improve things. Many WR coaches contend that if a WR touches it, it's his responsibility to hang onto it. If Dak's at fault for certain drops, it's up to the staff to correct it in any way necessary and that's a given.
