i dont deny this reality...Dak has improved a lot in his mechanics and throwing motion since 2016....for me here is the real rub in 2020 season...are we even going to have a season???...i dont have a lot of confidence...what say you?

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott last fall enjoyed a career-best season, one that would've been even better had his receivers held onto the football. Cowboys wideout Michael Gallup ranked second in the league with 11 drops on 113 targets while Randall Cobb in the slot tied for sixth with eight drops on 83 targets.

These numbers prove Prescott would in fact be considered among the league's elite under center if his supporting cast did a better job of holding up their end of the bargain.

If one adds those 392 air yards lost (due to Cowboys WRs leading the league in drops in 2019) to Dak's career-high 4,902 passing yards, that would have increased his total to 5,294 yards: roughly 5,300 passing in 2019...by far the highest single season Cowboys franchise passing record and without a doubt an elite passer throughout the league. It also would have landed Dak with the 3rd highest single season passing yards ever in NFL history:

Jameis Winston being on the list should tell u something lol.
and most of those did not get to a sb in those years.
Throwing for a lot of yards is not a good stat.
It generally means they are passing too much.

Dak didn't pass too much. Actually, he didn't pass enough, especially since Zeke was trash half the time during 3rd or 4th & 1s last year.

Dak was SECOND next to Winston in most INTs dropped by DBs. That should be the alarming stat. One lost had 17 to Winston’s 21 and one had 10 to Winston’s 12.

So if DBs are also dropping it, it must say something about Dak’s throws

He almost set the record for most INT returned for a TD in 2017, halfway through the season...

Dak was garbage throwing in the red zone at UNDER 50% clip. He was among the worst in the league of starting QBs. He was basically Ryan Fitzpatrick.

It's funny. I should have checked out the link instead of taking your words full of lies as solid evidence. Dak was actually 13th best out of 68 QBs ranked in the red zone.

That’s not a ranking.. It is ordered by number of TDs thrown inside the 20. If you look at TDs thrown in the 10, Dak has thrown 7 TDs which puts him even lower than Andy Dalton.

QB Data Mine had, my bad, 16 INTs dropped for Dak and 21 for Winston.

What a joke! PFF had the Cowboys leading the league in dropped passes with 43. Bob Sturm had them at 51. Even if you take the lesser number, 43 is a heck of a lot much more higher than the Dolphins at 28 drops.

What a joke!!! Comical! 80% of those passes were uncatchable by any player on the field. Whoever did this is a bonafied idiot and most obviously never played football.
