All on Romo. He can't do it all. Result = bad

Draft pick, we've been rebuilding just about every other position, don't stop now...

Great suggestion. Now who would you recommended that would likely be top 3 in passer rating.

Or would you like to downgrade and wait for them to possibly mature into one of the top passers?

You ladies have to face it. You're incorrect. A lot. He's one of the highest rated passers this year and of All Time. Look at his company. They are all very good. Doesn't this tell you anything ?

Those are facts. They can't be disputed. And they won't be. Like I said. It's not possible.

You weren't on here during our win streak. That says all I need to know about who you are and what type of "fan" you are.:flagwave::clap:

Forget about the defense. Romo has one of the best OL's in the league. He has the tools on offense to put up serious numbers week in and week out.

There is no instant gratification when rebuilding. Look how long it took to develop the 2 best QB's in the league in Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, they both sat for a few years and they were both over looked in the draft.

The solution is not always right there in your face like an Andrew Luck, sometimes u just gotta find it. That's where your scouts come in...

Interesting that you mentioned 1 of the 2 rated above our current starter.

74. So you remember the years when the obvious selection wasn't there and we searched for years. Right. Well just like most other teams searching for a franchise Qb for years, that's likely what we'd be doing.

Finding Brady and Rogers is rare. Like really rare. And not realistic at all.

You can't find him if you do nothing, by your implications we shouldn't even try...

I'm for drafting one. Hell, I was wrongly for getting Jf. If a viable option is there then yes. Get one.
But I don't think he's been the main problem and we should continue to focus on the main problems.

I would just as soon agree to disagree. We overpaid the guy on his last extension and it's going to hurt us in resigning some of our better players as well as having let some go already. He has not lived up to that contract and I seriously doubt he ever will, especially now that he's injured...

lol, what an embarrassing troll you are. Would you please explain how he has not lived up to that contract, keeping in mind that this is the first year of it, and we are 8-3 in the games he has started and he has a career high 106 rating so far? We need a minimum IQ for this board.

Well for one his surgery was far more serious obviously than what we initially thought so that alone made this thing a bad investment. He's just not physically able to perform, I have no idea what games some of you are watching. We leave 2-3 touchdowns on the turf per game due to underthrown balls when our WR's beat their cover guys. He's padded his stats against 6 sub .500 teams and all but disappeared against teams above .500, get real. I'm not a troll, you're just a blind homer....

He is third in the nfl in passing. I don't agree he's paedded his stats. All QB's have a chance to pad their stats.

He's like 5th All Time. Stats can't be padded for a career. Can they? No. Of course not.

One day they will have a "Romo Stat," most meaningless garbage time stats yet most losses in "Big Games," "Playoff Implication Games," "Do or die," "Win or Go Home," "No Soup for You," etc etc...

No it wasn't...............it was 5 years ago....................buy a calendar bro.

One day is like unto 1,000 years and 1,000 years is like unto one day without at least two measley wins in the postseason when your QB makes over $100 Mill.....

Your comments in this thread are so broad brushed, so full of tired cliche's and so full of holes you really lose credibility. Honest, you look really bad.

First - his contract is not going to set the organization back and he's not getting 100 million dollars. How many countless posts have their been about the restructures being built into the contract to be team friendly. I guess giving up 51 points to the Packers last season or putting up 23 in a half on the Packers with historically worst defense in franchise history is Romo not living up to his contract. You honestly think Russell Wilson takes us to the playoffs last year?

Second, you absolutely blew off Percy's post recently about how Romo has less "meaningless stats in garbage time" than most quarterbacks. Do your homework, go back and read it, then you'll understand you can't use that excuse because it's flat out wrong.

Third - you bring nothing to the table as to if not Romo who? Okay you want to address it, how? Cut Romo and take a flyer on a draft pick? And how are you going to justify that to the team and the fans when we have a chance?

You going with a vet for now? Great, how about Kyle Orton or Brandon Weeden? Hell, let's go get Gradkoswski he's still around. You live in a fantasy world with others (at least you're not on ignore like a lot of them) who think just because we part ways with Romo it automatically gets better.

Fourth - honestly, as a longtime fan (I think you are) how does it feel to be on an island, looking at a boat full of Hall of Famers, GMs, coaches and men waving at you who have dedicated their entire lives to the game of football who understand his skill set and believe he can win a Super Bowl? Roger would look you dead in the eye and say you're flat out wrong.

The most pathetic thing of all is, if we go on to have success in the playoffs, or even win a Super Bowl, the most we'll get of any of these thousands of words and angst is "Damn, I'm happy we won and I'll admit I was wrong" That's it.

I guess at the end of the day -- you get the satisfaction of getting the same four posters to give you likes. That's all I can think of.

I know that wasn't for me but...
I think you have selective memory and are, in fact, the bind one. Blind hater, that is.
