I'm going to turn this "prediction" of crow eating around on you.

You will be the one eating crow when Mike Jenkins plays his rear end off this week and takes one away. He has been the best CB on this team this year, by far. Starting only means he gets more chances and him being a rookie at left CB means they are going to test him. Not only will he pass the test, he's going to make them pay for daring.

I totally concede that he's better than the rookies. I totally concede that he was elevating his game the last few weeks. I totally concede that I'm mad at him because he ruined his life, stabbed Jerry in the back, and hurt his teammates at the same time.

He was drunk and attacked his bodyguard from behind when the guy was using the toilet in a public bathroom.

But he did not do anything?

Not only did he break his agreement for reinstatement ...... but he showed he still thinks like a piece of trash cowardly thug when he has been drinking.
Why didnt Jerry punish him then?

Pacman is more talented and could help us win.....but the kid is a idiot and cant be trusted.

I feel sorry for Pacman because I think the stipulations set by the NFL on his behavior was set for him to fail.

Then again....Pacman had enough chances....too many in fact.....sure he was Goodwells whipping boy.....there is no denying that.....as we see players get a pass even tho they did much worse.

But Pacman put this on himself....he couldnt keep away from the limelight...and trouble....

What a waste of talent

I'll 'learn ya sumthin'

If the Cowboys suspended him, they wouldn't have gotten the draft picks back from Tennessee.

So they leet Goodell do it and got their own 6th round pick and Tennessee's 5th.

That's why.

Kudos to you guys for saying, 'hey we gave him a chance'.

Hos, I agree, Jenkins has been playing above my expectations for sure. I know he was great at USF...but still impressive at this level.

I bet each and everyone of u guys were gloating and celebrating in the 90s as i was with a team who had a leader who was a cokehead, partying nut who literally stabbed a teammate in the neck with scissors.Hypocrites some of you are.Pac never did anything as bad as some, even in this day.

Pacman needs to go live in a monastery until Goodell gives him the go ahead to come back to the Cowboys. Then he should return and help us win a Super Bowl.

That would be a nice ending to this mess.

Jerry does not want to own up to that mistake just yet.

With the injuries to the secondary etc...

This can't be a serious question.

If Adam Jones falters, it will be his fault and his alone. He has a number of life experiences to reflect back upon, which common sense should prevent him from repeating. Even if someone were to falsely accuse him of something he hasn't done, in order to profit from his notorious past, the false accusations would not stick if he simply prevents himself from being in the wrong places at the wrong times. And yes, for most people, that is easily doable.
Wouldn't it be more prudent to focus any Adam Jones related angst due to his absence at Adam Jones himself? Do crows actually have to be sacrificed in his name?? Don't crows have any basic fundamental rights???

I made no bones about wanting Cason over any other CB and still think he'd have been great here. Jenkins was the highest rated CB prior to the Combines. I was not at all unhappy we got him. Since we have he has impressed me with how fast he closes to the ball. Only guys like Deion and darrell have shown me that kind of closing speed.

I never once condoned Michael's actions. In fact, once those things came out I quit being a fan of his even though I appreciated his contributions to the team. It wasn't until his contrition showed at his HOF speech that I finally let it go.

Not me.

How can you ignore the 13 incidents in just a couple of years ? And to top it off Pacman has never been a leader in the NFL. He has been a sweep under the rug type of player.

Personally, I don't think Mike was a cokehead. I think he just liked to get high from time to time. Problem for him was that he made his mistakes while high or carrying.

Even if you really think Pacman should be excused for not following the guidelines that he himself agreed to follow as part of his reinstatement, surely you are not foolish enough to suggest that pacman was actually doing a good job in coverage? that he wasn't "burned" in the first 6 games?

Pacman was a pleasant addition in terms of his effort and run support, but he was not covering well enough to keep anyone off the field for long.

Adam Jones is a human being and I'm all for helping him. If he can stay sober, stay in AA, do everything else asked of him, then I would hope people would be happy for him and the Cowboys for getting a very good CB back about the time TNew comes back.

OTOH, I understand the angst and the feeling of betrayal by him. He did breech the trust of fans, team, himself, Jerry and Goodell personally whom I both feel have Adam Jones best interests at heart. AJ needs to change.

It's on him now more than ever since coming to Dallas. Do it Adam.
