Wrong - this time he did. He made yet ANOTHER mistake. Jerry supported him - 1. because he knew the league would follow with a suspension and we would get our draft pick back, and 2 - because he wanted him to play one more game.

I'd rather see Jenkins and Scandrick get burnt, totally toasted, as opposed to justifying behaviorial issues in a player. The only person who should be mad is the CB who is struggling to make it into this league and must lose his job because one of the spots is taken up by a criminal.

I don't hate Pacman. I think he played average. But there is a bright side and a reason for getting rid of guys like Pacman: let more deserving individuals have the spotlight.

It's true, Irvin would have faced harsh penalities if Goodell was commish back then. And it probably would have been a good thing. Irvin would have cleaned up his act. Football was too important to him. Pacman, I think, is different.

You don't know what would have happened to Irvin because what happened in the past is just that. Anyone could turn your logic back at you and state that if Goodell had informed Irvin of the conditions involving his reinstatement, Irvin may have been INTELLIGENT enough to have complied with the commissioner's plan. You don't know. I don't know. What we both know is that the commissioner of the present day NFL told Adam what he could and could not do. He didn't comply. What would have happened to Irvin is completely irrelevant.

Let's stick to who is REALLY to blame for Adam Jones suspension. Let's throw two possibilities on the table. One is Roger Goodell. The other is Adam Jones himself.
