khiladi;2343049 said:His 52 teammates were shocked with the suspension handed down to him, thinking it was way too harsh.
khiladi;2343120 said:So what was the job of Jerry's detail that was suppose to protect Pac-man? They surely weren't doing their job, were they?
Like I said, this whole thing is a joke... There is nothing to investigate on and Goodell is nothing but a fraud...

juckie;2343030 said:You cannot possibly think suspending him indefinitely is fair for what he did.
BraveHeartFan;2343123 said:Actually what Jerry said was that they didn't find anything in the incident that showed he broke any of the rules put in place for him by the team. He never once said that Jones didn't break any rules put in place for him by Roger and the league.
He thinks it's harsh yet he said he agrees with and supports the commish decision? He got the picks because he put that in place when he made the deal with the Titans. HE wouldn't have put those things in place, to get those picks back, unless he figured that there was a really good shot that Jones would do what Jones has always done, screw up.
zrinkill;2343185 said:Good lord ..... is the Pac man pity party still going on?
No wonder the idiot acts like he does ..... there are always even bigger ones waiting to defend him.
juckie;2342472 said:If Goodell was in the league in the nineties we wouldnt have Irvin for very many games or many others.Either way Pac deserved maybe a game and a fine.
khiladi;2343068 said:I just love the ESPN support when it comes to Pac-man... What happened to the hypocrisy, the speculation, the drama that ESPN is when it comes to any and everything that is the Cowboys?
Goodell has already made it clear that the possibility for Adam is open to come back in the league, depending on how he acts. If it was that bad, he wouldn't have said it is about how Pac-man acts.
The incident is nothing but drama... Do you think this is anything but a publicity stunt by the NFL and the Cowboys? And Jerry got pacified with the Titan's pick...

khiladi;2346317 said:Every single report that has come out says the team thinks the punishment was way too harsh and they were surprised by it... EVen Jerry was surprised by it...
Hell, Adam Jones has been in the league's substance abuse monitoring program for 3 years and his nose has always come out clean... Like I said, Adam is Goodell's poster boy for his hypocritical clean-up the league image.. How are you coming out clean and now being forced into an alcohol re-habilitation program because your allegedly an alcoholic?
BraveHeartFan;2346340 said:Because, as usual, they weren't testing him for alcohol for those three years. Every report, that you seem to like to throw out there, has said that the substance he's been tested for 2 or 3 times a week for nearly 3 years is for weed. I haven't seen one report where they say they've been testing him for his drinking because if they had been then, obviously, he'd have failed numerous tests over the last three years cause he's an admitted drinker and partier.
The guy screwed up. Plain and simple. You're a whiner who just wants to take all responsibility off of him for his own actions. Another one of those people, much like he's been most of his career, where it's always someone elses fault. Someone always being mean to him.
Hopefully the guy will get his rehab and possibly get one final shot in the league that he claims he loves so much. I wouldn't put money on him doing right and getting back in and I certainly wouldn't put money on him continuing to do right if he manages to get back in. But I certainly hope he's able to.
But, yeah, you continue to whine about how he's mistreated and none of it's his fault. I'll wait to see how long it takes for that sort of thought process to work out for him.
Doomsday101;2346338 said:Pacman was getting into trouble well before Goodell came to town. Jones has done this to himself and has no one to blame but himself. He is a grown man who can't seem to avoid conflict. Dallas knew this when we got him but took a chance and even with body gaurds to baby sit him he still finds trouble. I agree this was a minor infraction and had it been any other player it would not have been an issue but Pacman is not any other player he is a player who has had a long list of trouble and to throw that on any one except for Pacman is navie.
khiladi;2346363 said:That doesn't mean Pac-man can't enjoy the basic qualities in life every single NFL player can indulge him...
khiladi;2346356 said:Ah I see... So how does the NFL argue he is an alcoholic when they haven't been testing him, per your own words? Plenty of players get drunk in the NFL... You think getting drunk constitutes alcoholism...
I love the irrationalism displayed in this post... Not addressing any of the blatant inconsistencies in this sham.. That is why you have resorted to calling it whining. Tell me again, if Jerry knew that alcohol was a reason for Adam to get suspended, what use was the detail? What was Jerry trying to protect Adam from?
