You cannot possibly think suspending him indefinitely is fair for what he did.
No, it's not fair, but it is right.
Here's the thing: it's not what he did, it's that he DID IT.
I was a strong supporter for bringing him in. I thought it was a gamble well worth it because of his talent level compared to the price the Cowboys paid to get him. But you know what ? Like somebody famous once said:
" Stupid is as stupid does ".
This guy had to have his own boss control his financing so he wouldn't throw his money away. That's embarrassing for a so called " man " who has a young daughter. And even so, he STILL went around his boss' back and did what he wanted.
This guy, according to an article today, didn't listen to coaches, even though he was no more than a " rookie ", in terms of player status within the team, trying to win a spot.
This guy had to be told, several times, by the same boss who put his money, team chemistry, and his reputation on the line for him, to " chill out ". He was told several times to stay out of the limelight. This guy did NOT listen.
I have absolutely NO problems if Jerrah decides to release him as soon as I post this. NONE. There are knuckleheads who just don't know any better ( Leon Lett comes to mind ), but are good people down deep inside, and there are knuckleheads who are just plain selfish stupid idiots.
Pacman is the latter.
