Can someone explain to me why a grown man cannot drink? So everyone else can but he can't? So if everytime he got in trouble he was eating a hamburger is then not allowed to eat hamburgers? Our societal rules are just ridiculous. We want everyone to fall in line with the goody two shoe rules. Goodell is just a racist.

You realize grown men on the drug program in the NFL can not drink you understand that correct

You understand Reynolds and Reynolds Company can and have fired people for smoking even in non work hours and it held up in court. Because thye have a non smoking policy for all employees that work for them.

So we have grown men not allowed to smoke

Only if he ate it and promised gladly to pay for it next Tuesday and didn't.

I'm going to turn this "prediction" of crow eating around on you.

You will be the one eating crow when Mike Jenkins plays his rear end off this week and takes one away. He has been the best CB on this team this year, by far. Starting only means he gets more chances and him being a rookie at left CB means they are going to test him. Not only will he pass the test, he's going to make them pay for daring.

Agreed. However he probably won't post a peep about them doing well and he'll avoid any, and all threads, that proves his insane "the sky is falling" threads about Jones wrong.

juckie;2342357 said:
Why didnt Jerry punish him then?

Mainly because of the draft picks but also because what Jones did didn't violate any team set forth rules. What happened did, however, break his league mandated and his probation mandated rules.

Hopefully I am.I think he may be ok this week, after all "Its the rams dude".But Galloway will eat his lunch and NYG will go after this kid like crazy.

Assuming Galloway even actually plays. Since he's on my fantasy team I know he actually hasn't even hardly played this year cause he's been hurt. So you'll likely be completely wrong about this the moment the game starts and he likely doesn't even suit up.

I bet each and everyone of u guys were gloating and celebrating in the 90s as i was with a team who had a leader who was a cokehead, partying nut who literally stabbed a teammate in the neck with scissors.Hypocrites some of you are.Pac never did anything as bad as some, even in this day.

Actually I was but back then the only following I did of the Cowboys was on Sundays. I didn't have the internet back then and, being in high school, i was busy studying, playing sports of my own and such so I really wasn't spending a lot of time following what the media circus was like around them back then.

I honestly didn't even know about the Scissors thing until about 3 years after it had happened and, yes, I was shocked he was never suspended for it and I didn't cry, one bit, when he was suspended 5 games for his cocaine crap.

juckie;2342472 said:
If Goodell was in the league in the nineties we wouldnt have Irvin for very many games or many others.Either way Pac deserved maybe a game and a fine.

And those players, just like Jones, would have no one to blame but themselves for being grade A screw ups. Don't get me wrong I rooted for Jones to do well while he was on the team but I don't feel the least bit bad for him that he's too stupid to do right and keep himself in the league.

Yes, I can. It's called "Probation" and once upon a time I was on probation for 6 months. I got caught drag racing (sort of, there actually was no other car, I was just showing off). During that time that I was on probation if I had got so much as an illegal parking ticket my license would have been suspended.

Pacman was told he could not drink and he did. His license got suspended.

Ouch. Has to hurt them when you hit them with facts like that. Of course Im sure, since it's been done a million times for them already, they won't quite grasp what you're telling them anyway. The only thing the guys like this care about is that Roger is screwing over poor, mistreated, screwed over Adam Jones.

It has nothing to do with ability.

I'm sick of his actions here already, and he obviously didnt learn.

He deserves to sit out at least 4 weeks, probably more. After his suspension is up, fine bring him back in and let him contribute.

funny you bring up tampa bay...their rookie cornerback Talib (the guy alot of us wanted) came in on thin ice due to the failed pot tests in college then at the rookie get together he gets into a fight...just a fine...

Pac gets into an argument with his bodyguard and hes suspended for 4 games....hey i'm just saying...

I am not a Pacman hater. I just don't trust the guy and haven't for a long time. He has proven that mistrust was correct.

Pacman got in off field trouble while playing at West Virginia.

When Pacman was coming out of WVU, there were posters that said he would get in trouble in the NFL. They were right.

When he got in trouble while at Tennessee, there were people that said he would get in trouble again. They were right.

When he came to Dallas, there were people that said he would get in trouble yet again. They were right.

The trend is that Pacman does get in trouble. If that happens and keeps happening then how can Pacman haters be proven wrong and eat crow?

Like I said, I am not a hater. I just don't think you can rely on the guy. There is no reason to rush to cut him, but the odds are that he won't be around the full length of his contract in Dallas. If he does that will be fine because it will mean he did everything right for a change. If not, no huge loss.

Jerry never truly trusted Pacman.

That lack of trust showed in the type of deal Jerry worked with the Titans that gave the draft pick back.

That lack of trust showed in the way the contract was structured that gave Pacman no bonus and a minimum salary that only goes up of Pacman sticks around and in order to stick around that means Pacman needs to be good.

That lack of trust showed in the way Jerry hired personal security to escort Pacman around.

If Jerry can't trust Pacman, then why should anyone trust him?

Pacman was only averaging about 5 yards per punt return. So, unfortunately, the post might be accurate.

So you can blame special teams for their crappy punt and kick-off coverage but not their crappy punt blocking, because Adam Jones is returning punts?

He didn't? So you you're saying he didn't drink and didn't break his probation, as they've already said that he in fact did do, and thus he didn't break one of the terms of his reinstatement being that he not do anything that is against his probation?

You cannot possibly think suspending him indefinitely is fair for what he did.

If it was the only thing he'd ever gotten in trouble for and gotten suspended for, absolutely not. I'd be outraged.

but this isn't his first trouble and it's not his first suspension and it's not like it wasn't made crystal clear to him what the ramifications of further trouble would mean for his continuing to be in the league.

I feel no sympathy, at all, for the guy. He's brought this all on himself by continuing to prove that he is incapable of keeping himself out of trouble and incapable of following the guidelines and rules set forth for him. Not just the ones by the league, and Roger, but those set forth for him in his probation by a judge.

Pac-man should sue the league if he gets suspended indefinitely... This whole episode is a joke.

I can see partly how it is not fair; however, it was all his previous antics that put him in a situation to be treated so unfairly.

It is more than fair that he even got another chance to pay in the NFL. It is more than fair that he was given a specific guideline to follow while on probation to keep playing in the NFL.

It is not fair to Jerry Jones and Pacman's 52 teammates and coaches that he could not follow a few simple guidelines.

His 52 teammates were shocked with the suspension handed down to him, thinking it was way too harsh.

My bad... I mean life-time ban... He should sue them for specifically targetting him...
