Game experience is better imo. Home doesn't even compare to any live game

I think it honestly depends on your value of the dollar. Given my financial situation with a wife who stays at home and two young boys, it is simply not worth it. Were I a single man or a well-off man, my perspective would probably be different.

No, you're not alone.

In fact, that's why Jerry designed AT&T the way he did.

He specifically mentioned the issues that stadiums face...the improvement in home television quality makes it more enjoyable to watch it at home and considering the expense, many fans will choose to stay home now rather than go to the game.

That's why Jerry made the stadium with such a spectacle...to keep those fans and if not, get fans from opposing teams to come to the game because of the unique stadium experience.

Last year where there were so many Niners fans, I laughed at those that said that it was an indictment against Cowboys fans. It's something that is happening league wide. And the only teams it doesn't happen to league wide have a crappy stadium in a crappy town and don't generate nearly as much money as the Cowboys do. When you have fans of other teams willing to pay 3x the face value for tickets, you'd be a fool to not sell those tickets.

I just wish Jerry could have the foresight in other aspects of football like he did with the stadium design.

Personally, I still enjoy a good sports bar scene on Sunday. I like to see other teams play and be around the energy of the fans from other teams that are winning or losing.

Not sure if its been mentioned in the thread or not, but I saw a story the other day, I think it was jacksonville. They are starting to build these little minny suites, out in the open, which is like your own personal living room. The owners know they are losing out to the living room, so they thought they would give the fans their own little living room, right at the stadium.....

Big games, I wanna be there at the stadium, even if they are nosebleed seats. But routine games I would rather be in my own living room.

So let me get this straight: They are giving the living room experience only in comparison to your own living room, they are charging an arm and a leg?

I would honestly prefer to watch the game in the comfort of my own home then go to AT&T stadium. I think the novelty of watching the game at the game really took hold before televisions and the only way to participate was to listen to it on the radio. Then there was the black and white TV, and of course, being at the game still trumped any other experience.

But now, I have a 73" HD television that I can watch the game on or I can opt to either spend over $100 to park and eat at the game (that's after the price of admission, mind you) or spend around $50 and walk 2 miles to get to my seat. At home, I can grill up better food than what even the stadium has to offer, I can pause the game for restroom/other breaks, and all of this from the comfort of my couch. Name a seat in AT&T stadium more comfortable then my couch? Jerry Jones seat is less comfortable then my couch.

Am I the only one who thinks the going to the game experience as become overpriced and overrated?

Its a way better experience at home IMO.

First I don't have to pay stupid prices for every little thing.

2nd... Cowboys stadium is a circus atmosphere and there isn't really anything football about it.

3rd.. If you like to play fantasy football trying to keep up with all the players and scores is annoying at a game.

Then with all of the traffic you have to fight before and after it's just not worth it. In fact it sucks.

Lol, wow I am still on a 50"

My dream is to get one of those HD projectors with 120" screen. My mother-in-laws boyfriend has one. It's like watching from the sidelines.

Don't get me wrong...if I had that kinda coin, that would definitely be the way to go.

I was kidding. I have to DVR a few Sunday games a year. Everyone I know knows to not try to call or text me till after I've watched it.

I hate it when I have to wait and watch the game well after it is played because you can't turn on the radio or tv or talk to anyone for the duration.

Well I'll take Jerry Jones seat over my couch for sure. I do want to get to Jerry World but understand the staying home thing. I also have a 70" and it sure does beat the 27" of decades ago. TV prices are so sick these days, pretty much use them up and then trash them. Next tv will have to be in the 90" range, still quite pricey.

My next TV will be 70+. Still rocking the 55" right now.

I stay home and sync up the Brad Sham broadcast to the game.

Honestly, if you put together a Dallas Cowboys scrap book from their humble beginnings to present it would not be complete with out Sham the Mans mug somewhere in it.
