I would have in a heartbeat

24 yrs young and runs a 4.42 with 3 years NFL experience

I actually like Cooper. When half this board wanted us to draft Calvin Ridley last year in the first round, my biggest argument is that Ridley was just as old as Cooper and not nearly as good.

I think the majority of people who are upset about the trade is how much we gave up to get him. If Jerry thinks this team is one WR away from contending for a championship, then we are truly screwed.

Also, what happened to all the talk a few months ago that this team didn't really need a #1 WR. Were we wrong then? Was our off-season plan/strategy completely mishandled?

Some believe the team should draft a QB and that Dak isn't the answer. I want him to be successful but would be open to the Cowboys eventually getting a new QB if he isn't the answer.

Actually, Dak was throwing some pretty good balls early in the game (I ended up going to watch my best friend's brother play baseball at about halftime). Maybe this could work out.

None of them believed they'd actually get a first for Cooper. Not with hold out concerns and recent play.

They all assumed, as did a lot of us here, that the 1st Rounder was just a starting point and Gruden would accept lower.
