We've been had by the same guy who traded away Khalil Mack for a bad of chips. We're the only people more stupid than Gruden.

Maybe he can get Derek Carr from them too.

Word has it that Cooper has already learned the WR routes.

Run to nearest defender and turn around.
That's why he will be successful. He can run to the nearest defender and turn around better than any Cowboys WR on the roster and a Safety will go there to help.

Yes, it is gone. However, as I've been thinking about it, I don't know if it was a terrible move either. I can certainly see the logic, and we do look abysmal at WR. Like @eromeopolk and I said, I dunno if Jerry really had a choice if we're going to be competitive this year. Plus, with this being our bye week, it gives Cooper an extra week to learn our offence, so that's another good reason for the move.
We aren't winning anything this year even if we do take the division.

We are just not good enough and now have huge holes to address on the O-Line in the offseason as well with TFred out and Tyron injured. We could not afford to do what happened today. I can't believe this happened.

No more than a 3rd for WR, which is about where we could afford to draft a WR next spring.

We have to think hard about QB- now that's out the window. Now we don't even have the leverage to land a top player out of school at ANY position. This is absolutely horrible news.

This simply shows Jerry's ineptitude. Same story after all these years.

Desperate beyond belief, and inept to the core.

Same story after 20+ years.

Hasn't learned his lesson.

Two first round picks isn't exactly a bag of chips. I didn't think the Mack trade was dumb at all. Gruden knows he's not going anywhere with what he has and he's rebuilding.

Exactly.

"Here's your team Coach. Hope you can work with Dak Prescott as your QB1. We believe in him, so you do too"

Who will want this job?

Allow me to play Jerry's Advocate for a moment. Let's suppose that we were going to go WR anyway. And, let's suppose that the next coach thinks that he can work with Dak (as stated, the next QBs in 2019 don't look that appealing to me as this college football season has gone on, at least compared to what I see in 2020). Perhaps it gives Dak one last go before we decide to get a bloke like Tua. Thus, we have a very good WR coupled with a very good RB and a new coach that's likely to be the last one Jerry knows alive. Plus, if all the WRs are bad next season, then this move makes sense to me. As someone stated, it's only one first, and it has at least apparent logic behind it. So, while I wasn't too keen on it, I must say that I am not terribly upset by it. Now, if we had given up 2 firsts for him, I'd have been switching my avatar to a Broncos logo, haha.

For those of you getting impatient the good news is that Jerry is going all-in on getting a Lombardi this year .

People focus on the wrong thing. Hey, he's probably better than any WR we could get in the draft! He's almost as young as Ridley!

This trade means they are all in with Dak. And if you're okay with that, you're not okay with me.

Raiders got a alot in that trade and just made out like bandits on this one. For a team not going anywhere it makes little sense to give Mack 140 million. He's great, but you have to build a 53 man roster and manage the cap on to of it. Obviously in tear down and rebuild mode in Oakland.

You've given the WR's on this team an out for poor play.

"Hey man, no worries. With Amari here, Dak's gotta produce it's on him. If we stink we have a fall guy- #4"

If Cooper is the difference between 9-7 and 4-12 then he is more than worth it

PHI sucks
NYG really sucks
WAS is beatable at HOME and very old

4-12 is an estimate of what a panicky jerry jones thought this team was going before this move. I myself would say something close to 7-9.
