Yes, it is gone. However, as I've been thinking about it, I don't know if it was a terrible move either. I can certainly see the logic, and we do look abysmal at WR. Like @eromeopolk and I said, I dunno if Jerry really had a choice if we're going to be competitive this year. Once he released Dez Bryant and then the retirement of Witten, he killed his own offense. Jerry Jones said he hasn't had a no.1 WR in years. If so, he should have traded Dez after the 2014 season.

Cooper actually will have 4 weeks rest as the Raiders had a bye week this week and he sat out the previous game. Coming off a concussion that is very important.

People think coaching does not matter in pro sports. When all signs say it absolutely does. No matter if you are a pro or not, coaching matters, especially in a league where every team has tons of talent. This isn't college where you can just out talent people like Bama does.

Players have to execute but if they are not even put in a position to win to start out, then we already lost before the game begins. How many times do we take the field and think we have the better staff on our side? Hardly ever.

Do you think Mahomes and Goff would look like that with these coaches and scheme? Absolutely not.

No doubt about it. I think coaching, preparation, scheme, practice etc etc are all just as important as the talent. People look at players like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees but give zero credit to the development of those guys. Just great from day 1? The prep, the scheme. Putting players in position. I have no doubt if Brady was drafted by the Cowboys he'd be long gone by now. Out of the league.. some alternate universe where he could've been one thing in NE but ended up the complete opposite in Dallas.

This is true IMO , and even romo said recently, that he thought a lot of potentially good QB's wind up seen as busts and out of the league,
due to no one actually developing them the proper way.

You can give Garrett the best player at each position and he would still find a way to be mediocre.
