he's rudy. i hope he makes the team. that would mean he's got a lot of potential and better than what we have. can we both agree we'd both like to see our WR better?

maybe amendola will make the team maybe not. but i do know it will have nothing to do with his PR campaign or the reaction that gets from others. if you want to feel the hate for him was born out of thin air, that's fine. i didn't see it that way but i'm trying not to get tied up in it.

The training camps were encouraging but i still want to see him on the field in a live game. so far he was disappointing but all he did was catch punts i want to see him as an receiver.

I am curious do you understand he has zero chance of being a punt returner here? They are just trying to find out what else he can do. If makes a roster spot on his receiving abilities that is one thing, but to make a gameday roster he has to be more than a slot wr. So I think they are putting him in situations to test him.

He will never return punts here though and judging him as a player based on that ability I think is misguided.

the starting punt returner will be AJ, back up will be Crayton. 3rd option will be Newman. Amendola is simply getting a test to see if he can be one of those backup returners.

It's also telling that he didn't get into the game until the very end.I've been hearing of this kid since he was in high school.I live 75 miles from The Woodlands so I kind of hope he makes it but it was getting tiresome of all the people riding his jock for the last couple of weeks.

I don't think so because most of them, though not all, are draft snobs who cannot abide the idea that somebody they never heard of in checking the mock drafts and who wasn't drafted can be really good. They are followers who must lean on the draft "experts' to judge talent even after it is demonstrated, and anything that suggests they are wrong about that demeans them. The real die hards think Romo is a fraud and will soon be exposed.

I thought you had to have expectations and a large investment in a player to earn that title. When our fans are demanding that our UDFA's excel, you know expectations are out of whack.
