In multiple posts in the same thread even! Get over it! No need to be racial about the guy, my gawd! Your posts are as more annoying as Nors' about Ricky Santos and Orlovsky, and that is saying a lot! :bang2:
Or Brandon Stokley. Guess it's just the Texas Tech connection. Watch out for that Ben Olson guy. He's definitely the next Troy.bbgun;2186398 said:It's all about Welker. People look at Amendola and see Wes, not Jeff Ogden. Which is strange, because not every 6'4, 220lb qb reminds us of Troy.
ThreeSportStar80;2184723 said:I told people to chill out about this guy, nothing special really. He's a camp body, he needs to be a gunner on special teams and not a return guy.

His goal now is to mock every guy chosen by the Cowboys or signed as a UFA.
It's kinda sad isn't it?

DaBoys4Life;2186426 said:wow where do you get this from ? I never said I didn't like Amendola I don't like the hype / attention he has garnished w.o. really doing anything.... for a player that might not even make the team......
I like Scandrick and Choice the later games are 2 later to even be a factor and Bennett Jones and Jenkins I am not high on till they prove other wise.....2 other cowboys 1st round picks I wasn't high on was Spears and Carp.....they still haven't done anything to make me feel any different on them.
ajk23az;2186379 said:Well since there were already like 4 other threads degrading Amendola, most people are getting fed up with it, and then there you go having to make another one..
Brandon;2186479 said:Poor baby.
gbrittain;2186495 said:Any particular reason you want to see this guy fail.
He did not generate the hype.
He is just out there trying to make a team.
What is so bad about that?
Did some people get carried away...I am sure of it.
Are the people burying him because of a lost fumble in his first NFL game getting just as carried away...absolutely.
If we want to make decisions based upon last night's game, maybe Pac Man should be shown the door as well.
I will never understand why a so called Cowboy fan wants to see someone fail.
I hated Quincy the player AFTER it became obvious to me that he was not a NFL caliber QB.
You better believe I was cheering for him to turn it around though even after I knew the obvious.
To be rooting against an undrafted rookie FA makes not one bit of sense to me.
Making judgements after a single and I do mean single preseason game, is beyond rediculous, and that goes for a first rounder.
theogt;2186391 said:Wes Welker had 5 fumbles his rookie season as a punt returner, one of which came during a return in the preseason.
He only caught 2 passes that preseason. No catches during the regular season.
Brandon;2184709 said:The next Wes Welker?
This guy won't even make the roster, way to go Danny! Where is Jamaica Rector?
DaBoys4Life;2184820 said:The great white hype fumbled most have been some mistake I mean he is the great white hype....
DaBoys4Life;2184837 said:considering the press and the threads that were sprouting up about this guy i expected him to be all world. but then again he is the great white hype....
bbgun;2185864 said:The worst part is that people might hesitate to criticize his play for fear of being lumped in with the "I can't wait to see him fail" crowd.
silverbear;2186732 said:I like Amendola, but after last night I'm pretty sure the experiment of him as a punt returner is over...
Did he even return punts at Tech??
The silver lining in this is now, it's more likely that the Boys could get him through waivers and onto the practice squad, which is where he probably should be for a year...
Angus;2186360 said:I don't think so because most of them, though not all, are draft snobs who cannot abide the idea that somebody they never heard of in checking the mock drafts and who wasn't drafted can be really good..
