I feel bad for Jessica in a way because she is just a young kid trying to be a singer. She is real good but two things have really soured me on her. Her whole Bebe Chez thing was old after about two minutes and the favoritism that she has been shown by the judges.

At the end of the article is says it plainly though. The real competition for success comes after Idol.

absolutely, & i just feel that even if she does win, jessica might never reach the level of success that kelly clarkson & carrie underwood have each achieved. those two women are superstars.

IMO, the one out of this bunch that will have the most commercial success is going to be Skylar. I think Colton will do well but he will be a very niche artist. And I think that will be fine with him.

i don't doubt that. country music is very popular, & her style is perfect. she reminds me a lot of miranda lambert, who i've seen in concert.

Hollie was amazing. can't get too relaxed though. don't want her in the bottom 3.

Top 3 tonight were Skylar, P2 and Probably Colton. Though I would give it to Hollie over Colton if I was making the final decision.

Bottom 3 Elise, Jessica and Joshua.

Elise should go home and sell her vacation home in the bottom three.

Elise has some good moments but she is not consistent enough. I like the sound of her voice but she isn't good enough to win this competition and she isn't going to be commercially successful.

If voting on the total package, voice, stage presence and commercial readiness, then Skylar wins this in a runaway.

Phil, Skyler, Joshua, Hollie, Colton, Elise, Jessica.

I don't get the Jessica love...all vocal olympics and no soul. She is pitchy as hell all the time too.

LOVE Jessica. However, her lack of personality will not get her in the top 5. It doesnt bother me, but I understand what others are talking about.

I am girl power this season. However, Philipx's2 cover of the Usher song was SEXAY INDEED. First time, I actually considered voting for a dude this season.

Colton sucked bad, so he was at the top of my list to go home. Skylar is surprising given that she's country. Without that she'd be a strong candidate to go home, though I thought her performance of the Lady Gaga song would garner some votes.
