American Idol season 11

Colton sucked bad, so he was at the top of my list to go home. Skylar is surprising given that she's country. Without that she'd be a strong candidate to go home, though I thought her performance of the Lady Gaga song would garner some votes.

No way does Elise deserve that. She's is not that good. She is pitchy and is all over the place with her notes. She is a good performer but her range in lacking.

I think Phillip could be in the top two along with Skylar. Elise can't come close to Skylar in terms of total package and Jessica just isn't ready for the bi time yet. She has soooo much work to do.

The guy is clueless about pretty much everything. Sometimes I wonder if he's just a giant schtick -- someone acting like a ridiculous redneck with no taste or judgment. It's a great schtick if that's the case, if not over the top.

Elsie is a good signer. Not great. Great ones don't scratch notes all over the place. She is a great performer though. But you need to have the whole package. Jessica is technically the best "singer" when she is spot on but she needs to grow into herself.

Skylar has everything right now. She is far and away the best prepared commercially right now. And that's not just of the girls but all of them.

Of the episodes I've watched, Elise clearly seems to be the least talented one remaining. Jessica has a great voice and Phillip seems to have a soulful voice, although it is a bit one dimensional.

I lost a lot of interest in idol when America was dumb enough to let Daughtry go and keep salt n pepper head.

Pretty good. I was never crazy about Kris, but when he did his remake of Kanye's song, it was spot on.
