Wow. Somebody is full of himself and his self righteous opinion. You like teeny bopper, dime a dozen singers. I like singers with character, soul, and a unique presentation. For me Elise clearly is the best remaining for the girls and Phillip for the boys. The rest been there done that, I don't care for it.

Taylor Hicks, David Cook, Bo Bice, and Clay Aiken come to mind from years ago, I thought they were amazing.

I think if I was a redneck, I'd be all over Skylar. I don't care for her.

No, I think he has you pretty well pegged like most do. He understands you don't have to attack someone out of the clear blue to make a point. Unlike some do.
 
IMO, Elise's problem is that she is trying to beat the other girls by being the same, big note kind of singer that Jessica and Hollie are. Bad strategy. Elise is a sultry, rock & roll kind of singer... she should be trying to compete using her strength rather than trying to prove that she can hit the big notes. Philip does this well. He is a soulful, edgy singer in the Dave Matthews mold. He knows his strength & style, and he approaches every song that way. If he tried to go head to head with Joshua & sing in Joshua's style, he would be mediocre at best. He know this, so he won't do it.

Elise needs to learn this lesson... If she would sing things that are in her wheelhouse... Janis, Pat Benetar, Bonnie Raitt, Heart, Joan Jett, Blondie, along with more Led Zepplin & similar covers then I think she would be more successful.

Someone lost money. LOL

But Elise being last is about right. She is the most erratic signer of the bunch and strays way to far from the songs that fit her. Anyone with any musical sense knows Colton shouldn't have went home but this is a competition where a small segment of America votes. America doesn't always get it right when it votes. If Elise would just stick to her range and incorporate it with her stage presence then she would be okay but she doesn't and that should doom her to the next elimination unless she does something else. But she won't lost much longer either way.

Elise should do well with this. I like her. Hollie or Jessica could have a moment with "The Show Must go on"

i'm just hoping that nobody sings "bohemian rhapsody". i mean, i love the song, but i just don't think it should be attempted by anyone in the top 6.
