American Idol has Jumped the Shark with Bikini Boy. I didn't think a reality show could do that but they did. AI will only be on for one maybe two more seasons.

Yes, I'm with you on that. Having her hair "put up" in that weird way only accentuated her overly skinny neck and made her look even worse. She really needs to gain some weight.

Yep, that's the main reason I watch it, because it's something my daughter enjoys. Though I really irritate her because When they talk to the people before they sing I can tell if they will be a good singer or not. I am about 95% right and it makes her mad. :laugh2:

Absolutely not. I could not stand Paula and her incessant have to be nice, but at least she knows music. I don't know that Ellen can give these kids any valuable advice. I think she is there just to make the show a comic act and a circus. She's funny, but funny was not needed on this show. Musical advice is. Even when it comes from someone as annoying as Paula Abdul.

Yeah, I saw a rumor that Howard Stern may replace Cowell. Why? These people don't know any more about music than your average person. Simon, I think, brings credibility to the show, because he's legitimately trying to find someone that will be a big success -- and he's proven he can do that.
