And this is why we need a new QB

I can't believe how foolish some people are. Your rant MIGHT mean something if no other Cowboys QB ONE week into training camp misses a throw THIRTY yards down field. I don't care what former Cowboys QB you want to pick, they ALL have had misses on deep routes a week into camp especially with a rookie RB who he has very little time getting timing down. Maybe you need to try playing super scout in some other sport that you know better than pro football.
.
I get the aggravation. A couple years ago, it was nobody can get open. Now, every skill position has been "upgraded" and there's still that inability to hit that wide open receiver in stride. When the issue keeps repeating, it stands out more. It's a relative easy throw to make.

Ignore the bad pass, that's expected. What should not be happening at this point is Dak waiting for the receiver to be fully cleared of any defender before the ball comes out. He's still waiting 2 seconds after the receiver is open to actually throw the ball...and it's even worse because Dak already knows what's going to happen with no pressure from the defense.

And here-below how long Dak takes to throw this pass which takes forever to get there.

Wish I was a coach there in this time. I'd be pulling a Parcells chewing Dak out. I've yet to hear any coach actually call out those late deliveries. Dak practically let the defender get in position and the receiver ran out of space to run as the ball thought about getting there. It's like it's accepted and no one bats an eye.

I've seen the great Romo overthrow a RB 10 feet away...….should have cut him.

Honestly, we'll miss some of you when Dak is looking superstar...in a few short weeks.

Well...if the first tweet wasn't bad enough...You literally could stack a Witten on top of another Witten...and he still wouldn't have been able to get a finger on that ball. That's how far over Jason's head this Dak ball was...After seeing this...I'm officially getting worried that the media has been feeding us crap the whole time.

Do you live in Idaho? If so do they have Napoleon dynamite tours? I see the breaking bad tour rv from time to time out here.

Many professional sport athletes are not great practice players but are great performers in game. I remember seeing a HOF player lose a game of H-O-R-S-E to a random basketball player where no tricks were involved.

Dak has missed that throw in regular games but who hasn't. Also, this is TC, this is the time where you work on your weaknesses to become a complete player before the regular season begin.

I can see Kellen forcing managements hand if Dak proves he can't handle his offense. He's already got one up on Dak...where the front office doesn't wanna pay 30 million for a questionable QB.
You also saw Kellen as an NFL starting QB.

I could buy into that...but it's videos like this that show you...he is what he is....and these demands for 30 million a year are just absurd.
I’m confused. So videos of him messing up are reason’s he sucks. But videos of him making great passes are not reason’s he's good?

So the bad means he’s bad and the good is disregarded? C’mon man this thread is so unfounded it’s ridiculous. If an NBA player misses an open jumper in practice he’s trash too huh?

Today's only practice I went to but he seriously didnt attempt another pass the entire day (at least with a defense) or more than 8-10 yards. I did see a few more plays, misdirections, backside screens etc. It was so weird to see plays that actually kinda fooled me. Cant say that for the last 10 years
Yup different camp days have different emphasis. There’s been plenty of footage of Dak dropping deep dimes, yesterday seemed to be a different installation.
