Yeah, that is a pretty incredible thing for a rookie to do to a guy like Mebane. I love how he is so aggressive and looks to put guys on their backs and then tell them about it.

He is going to be no fun for defenders to play against.

He honestly looks like he's playing against Pop Warner competition on some of those plays. It's kind of like "get out of my way, little kid". Watching him progress should be a lot of fun (for us, not the competition).

I LOVE the way he throws people around like rag dolls....reminds me of the Colombo/Hall clip....yet they are happening while the play is still going on. I think this line will be special for years to come as long as we have an average to above average QB and RB play. I am really hoping that Chaz is the answer at RT. If he is it would be comforting to know that we are completely set at OL and only a 1 tech away from being set at DL.

Just wait until he actually gets a year of an NFL weight training under his belt. Like i said before, once he sharpens up some of the technical/mental aspects of that position, he's going to be scary good.

Guys just don't do that to Mebane. That play by LC is really pretty incredible.

He is so athletic and strong. Moreso even than I thought when Dallas signed him.

Great player.

He's already getting some national recognition. There's a piece an ESPN Insider up talking about the 8 most physically dominant OL in the league. Yep, Collins made the list after only 3 starts.

Let's start with the player emulating Allen. PFF has given out our highest grade possible for a guard just twice this season, and Collins has both of them. He leads all guards in "dominant blocks" recorded in our system, and perhaps more importantly for a rookie, he has been badly beaten only just once in the run game.

Amazing. It looks like he's blocking a DB not a 310 pound 1tech DT.

Mebane has been one of the better 4-3 1tech in the league the past few years.

Collins has such effortless looking power and often seems to be too upright to be generating that much power.

I can only imagine what it looks like in practice when Collins blocks Hayden. I envision the scene from the Blindside when he blocks that kids practically back to the bus.
