Any LAKER Fans Here??

Back in 1st place. Thank God for Gasol. The Lakers are playing pretty well. Won 6 in a row, and 9 of 10. Then again most of those wins are agains the JV confrence.

They should just keep Boston, Detroit, and maybe even Orolando, and Cleveland, and contract the rest of the east. The rest of the league can absorb the players. Then just play a even schedule, and seed teams 1-16.

Lakers are not in first place. They are tied with the Suns and New Orleans has the same record with fewer losses so I would put them above everybody.

I'm pretty sure Kev meant in division, not conference, but you are right that Lakers are tied with Suns for Pacific Division lead.

They are listed above Phoenix for a better conference and division record so even though its a tie-Ill tip my hat to 'em for now. :)

I can't stand the Lakers and their wagon, but they are really good this year and it's scary! I don't think the Suns will have as easy a time beating them in the playoffs as they did last year

If the Suns are smart, and keep big daddy fresh for the playoffs, then I see him dominating all the Lakers bigs.

The big prob will be Nash and Barbozza will have to outscore or at least keep pace with kobe.

Kobe did to the Suns last night, what he did to that cheerleader in Colorado.

:D

I meant 1st in the division. We have the 3-1 tie breaker or the suns. So if the season ended today, LA would win the division, and be the #2 seed in the west I think.

Shaq will get hurt between now and then.

i was very impressed with the lakers, i must admit i underestimated them. I still think they will have a hard time beating the spurs in a seven game series though. Kobe has said that bruce is the person he has the most trouble scoring on and ill take duncan/thomas over gasol/bynum any that of the week, but again, if it happens it will be a good series and i dont expect it to be less than 6 games

The road through the West will be tougher this year than any I can think of in the past twenty or so years.

ya, i wouldnt be surprised if 2 lower seeded teams moved on to the second round

Anything we say doesn't matter, just homer talks, we'll see what happens in the playoffs.

Shaq hasn't dominated anything in 2 yrs what makes you think he will now. Shaq will get embarrassed by big athletic men in the west. Gasol, Yao, Duncan, Bynum.

By the way lets stop callin him Shaq. He hasn't been Shaq since he left the lakers. Now he is just Shaquille Oneal, JAG.
