And for the crowd who finds it important that people know their place: I am not an expert on nerves. I am not a doctor.

I am obviously a bit biased as I am a ND grad, but this is a kid that you want to root for and would be proud to be the next face of the franchise as we see guys like Witten and Romo start to near the end of their careers here.

I agree and I hope that's what he meant but the reported asked like a 2 or 3 part question. I go back thinking that would be huge news just below Daks performance yet it seems to be ho hum news.
Nice. Undergrad or grad school?
Rolls eyes**. Or just maybe they are the ones more qualified than you to speak on the subject. Just maybe. The sad fact is that most people that demand such a structure are not the ones on the top of the social ladder. They are towards the bottom and afraid for their own place.
No way. We need nine more pages of blue collars telling us exactly how and when neurons fire. Now that he has been placed on the Reserve-NFI list, perhaps the lot of you can move away from this idle speculation. When he was drafted, it was clearly stated that it was with the intentions to see him next year. I look forward to him being a stud on our defense "next year". .
IKR.. It's silly. No way. We need nine more pages of blue collars telling us exactly how and when neurons fire.

So, by all means, keep quoting yourself and telling yourself that you are on top of the social ladder (wow) because you solicit uneducated medical opinions on a football MB.

My father in law and brother in law are both doctors and they haven't said anything that would dispute your input on this subjectYou aren't more qualified. If you were you would argue on merit to demonstrate your credentials. Instead you go with this continuous whining ad hominem streak. your inferiority complex is showing. I have actually asked the doctors that post here whether or not what I am saying makes sense and been supported.
What I am saying is either right or wrong. I argue on merit and make a point to not big time people. Given that we have Smith telling McMahon that yes his nerve is now firing your stand here is quite ironic frankly.
On a final note, I don't think I am anywhere on any social ladder. Your logic is lacking. My saying other people are on the lower scale, really seeing themselves as on the lower scale, does not mean that I am on a higher level or believe that I am. I am just observing a social dynamic. I believe in freedom, merit, and equality.
What? There's plenty of footage of him aggressively engaging linemen excellent use of hands, and fighting successfully through blockers. His reaction time and attack on the ball when he reads run on the tape is extremely impressive, and stands out much more than Smith, who seems to lie in wait more, and even goes out of his way to avoid engaging blockers, tending to try to run around them.Jack wasn't a bash and crash LB either. And in the UCLA defense, they moved him around to keep OL off him and allow him to use his speed.
The notion that Jack was far more physical is largely more myth than reality.
I don't really buy that he's more raw than Smith either, in fact it looks more the other way around to me. If you can't see a clear difference in physicality and dynamism in making plays from the below DBD videos, I don't know what to tell you.Sean Lee wouldn't be considered a "bash n' crash" MLB either. I think there's too much emphasis being placed on that. What Smith is a highly intelligent MLB that can read and diagnose plays.
I do think all the comparisons between Jack and Smith are convenient but misguided. Jack is much more raw playing the LB position (at any spot), but he's demonstrated his versatility being lined up a lot in the slot on WRs and played well. I thought Dallas could have really utilized his talent somewhere on the defense.
