Anyone else bothered by Aikman these days?

I do wonder how he will
1. react and then;
2. how he will feel inside when another QB takes this team to SB and wins it.

You know they say one thing and mean another

or

they flat out dont like and kinda tell you(like Bradshaw when Neil ODonell was going to SB with Steelers)

No, it was Mark Rypien in 1992. Joe Gibbs was our coach though, just like he was in 83 and 88...here's hoping that its Brunell/Gibbs in Superbowl XLI...;)
And I don't think it takes a Commanders homer to notice his good work in the booth, who do you like better at Fox? Moose? (he's actually decent, but his broadcasting team is terrible). I think Aikman is generally on point, I sense a little hatred coming from you guys because he's not homerish enough, a la Theisman. Its going to be great listening to him and Kornheiser in the MNF booth, maybe thats what it takes for us to get some media love, put 2 Washingtonians in the booth...I wish Wilbon was up there too. But good luck next season, hope that playoff win drought clears up for ya...our drought ended last season, get used to Aikman's criticisms when he does Skins vs. boys this season. :D

Wilbon's from Chicago. Ever since the end of the Bulls run he's stopped claiming the Windy City because nobody there wins anything.

Now that he no longer throws passes for my favorite team, he just plain bothers me nowadays.

Am I alone here?

He just seems like a know-it-all who goes out of his way to criticise Dallas these days.
He bothered me a little when he played QB for my favorite team, he bothers me a whole bunch now. Yes, a complete Know it All, is how I would describe him. BORING

I'm another that likes him more now as an announcer. He does a very professional job that isn't anti Cowboys no matter how many times you repeat that it is. What's to like about a team that finishes the season like the Cowboys did last year anyway? Not that Aikmen bashed them, he just points out their flaws.

True but he rarely gives them props for big plays either and that is what we are talking about. I could care less about his criticism it's like dooms says you either agree or disagree. The thing that is obvious is his constant criticism and then when they do something good he hardly touches on it or doesn't say anything at all.

Again watch the 1st Philly and Carolina game.

Yep hehe but Parcells is paid to coach not comment. All you have to do is observe the look on Parcells face to know it's a good play.

Example:
Roy INT against Philly
Greg Ellis fumble return
Spears fumble run
Henry INT in Giants game

The expression is enough to know he is pleased
