Anyone else feel the media is disrespecting us?

They all seem to be saying the Giants should have won the 1st game and the only reason they lost is because of Eli. They all seem to conveniently forget that we dominated that game at the only reason the Giants were even in a position to win was because we handed them 3 turnovers. We have flat out dominated both of the games we've played so far and only our own mistakes have made it interesting.... SMH. I guess I'll never understand...

Yes, but what's more important, I think the players feel the same way. You think they don't read and watch what's being said about them?

Screw respect I just hope to keep our head above water for the next month or two. We can revisit respect after injuries and suspensions are over.

Giants should have won the 1st game, hell I would expect the Cowboys to win a game 2 scores up with 8 min left in the game. Your right our 3 turnovers were a big reason but Giants played a part in creating those turnovers. I think Dallas is better than NY but I would be lying if I said the Giants should have been able to hold on to that game.

As for the Cowboys, we have played 2 sloppy games 1 with 3 turnovers and 1 with 18 penalties the fact that we are at 2-0 is pretty amazing. Cowboys have a lot of work to do to improve if they expect to compete with top teams.

I really do not care. 2-0 and there are not bad wins in the NFL. Cheap wins yes, see the Patriots cheating

No...that will come when the Cowboys are on top and looking to win. Then Mr. Blue Suit will come up with some story about how some source told him there's a riff between the coaching staff and Jerry and Stephen Jones. Or that the Cowboys are looking to trade for a player or release a player and that has caused some tension in the locker room.

Then the FWST will write some articles about how the Cowboys are going to blow it and that this type of success won't be sustained for long with Jerry Jones as the owner. And probably some report of Jason Garrett wanting to go elsewhere or some 'anonymous NFL team exec' that believes Garrett is one of the worst coaches in the league.

The disrespect always comes when the Cowboys are looking good. It always draws in the blind sheep and they know it.

I agree at the end of the day we are 2-0. Dallas could go out and have 3 turnovers this weekend with 18 penalties but if we win I will be happy that we won. However it does not change the fact that to win consistently and to win vs top contending teams you need to play quality football. Cowboys situation right now playing poorly but winning but play must improve.

It'll be this way until divisions are reallocated geographically.

The North hates the South, and we play 3 Northeastern teams.

you don't have to go IFs at the end of the game, they had it won 99 times out of 100. Good thing they went full ******

Honestly, I think it's far more than 99 out of a hundred.

I like JG's new Catchphrase:

They are absolutely 100% right. Did you forget how that game went down? All they needed to do was either run the ball in instead of telling the RB to go down, or simply run the ball 3 straight times and leave 30 seconds left on the clock with no timeouts.

It was a blunder of epic proportions. And although our offense did move the ball, we had 3 turnovers and were poor inside the rezone.

But really, it has been our defense that has dominated both games. The offense has been a disappointment compared to last year.

And Jerry has voted to keep it that way. I love the fact we play in the NFC East and have our games with NYG, Wash and Philly. Would not want it any other way.

I would say the South hates the North just as much....... I moved from the North to the South years ago. I couldnt beleive they still use the term "Yankee"........................ I think of baseball or the civil war. Civil War was a long time ago..

Anyway, I cant get a good read on this game. This year has been hard for me. Usually, I have a strong feeling or opinion one way or another when it comes to how the Cowboys will play. This year , I just cant read this team. I dont have have a strong feeling on way or another about this sundays game......

The Cowboys were the better team against NY. Although, they were extremely lucky to win that game, but they never should have been in that position. Turnovers doomed them. The Cowboys were on their way to another TD and pretty much putting Philly away when Romo go hurt..... They were 6 point underdogs and were fixing to go up 20-0 (or something close to that score). Thats a strong performance by any standard in todays NFL.

But they looked suspect in some situations. Always teetering on disaster....chaotic, out of sync...etc etc.......It wasnt the team I was expecting to see when the season started..... Not the team, we saw last year. Now, its a different year, so "I guess" we need another identity. I guess......................?

Now with all the injuries. I really have no idea what to expect. But I will force a guess. --

We keep it close, in a great, great effort by Weeden and the entire team, for a period of time. May even lead at some point. But eventually, I will See you, me and Julio down by the schoolyard;

ohhh, with regard to the thread: Im not sure how anybody can gauge what the Cowboys will look like, especially casual observers in media land....

You can't get anymore fickle than the national media outlets. Just two days ago they were fawning all over the Commanders, and now today they are trashing them. Two days ago, they were trashing the Giants and now today they're the favorites to win the Division. Half of them still think the Eagles will win the SB this year and the other half have them dead and buried already.

Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, there has always been a certain level of national media bias against the Cowboys, and most of us Cowboys fans have learned to live with it. What we are seeing now is those outlets using the injuries to justify their previously unjustified negative bias against the Cowboys.

Well the Giants should have won that game and it was all Eli's fault and were not a sexy team right now after losing Romo and Dez for a month or two

No. Except for our mistakes, the Giants wouldn't have even been in the game. How is it that the Giant's mistakes are taken into account as to the reason they lost, but our mistakes that allowed them to even be in the game are simply ignored??? We dominated the game and would have won by three scores minus our mistakes. Don't forget Dez wasn't even a factor as well.

Giants game would have been a blow out without the 3 gifts to them.
