Anyone else feel the media is disrespecting us?

You don't really believe they were stupid enough to go down on those running plays when they had a chance to go up by 2 scores do you?? That was a comment by a running back who got his feelings hurt because he was stuffed 2 plays in a row.

Look, the Giants gave the game away. We had an impressive final drive on offense, but once OBJ caught the pass for the first down, it should have been over. It was poor clock management on the Giants part. I give us credit for driving down the field and getting the game winning TD, but we were gifted about an extra 40 seconds on the clock.

I don't think they did. The Witten/Romo interception was on Romo without any input from the defense. The Street turnover should have been held on to. I forget the other turnover without going back to rewatch the game but I seem to recall that it was on us not a good play by the Giants. The fact is we completely outplayed them minus the turnovers. Without those.. it's not even close and entirely possible our defense would have pitched a shutout.

I think the hit on street was perfect timing, I don't think he or many others would have held on. Having said that I think Dallas was the better team but Cowboys can't be happy with their play if they are they are living in fantasy land. There is a lot of cleaning up to do from what I have seen in the 1st 2 games and yes if NY played it smart at all they should have won. They left the door open for the final drive and Cowboys capitalized but Cowboys are not doing themselves in favor if they are happy with the play.

I have no issue with the media calling the Cowboys out they should and the coaches should be calling players out because you can't continue to play as they have and expect to win. We are 2-0 and I'm thrilled with that but their play must improve greatly

The Giants should have one the game if not for their mistakes. On the same note we should have won by three touchdowns had we not turned it over 3 times. Guess what, we did turn it over and the Giants did make mistakes. The better team won. We were prepared to play 4 quarters, they played 3 1/2!

They played 3 9/10 Quarters. And I wasn't talking about the awful play from either offense just the last 2 minutes of the game. There was no rhyme or reason to why or how they didn't run the clock out.

Honestly, I love being disrespected, if I was the players I work take that and run with it cuz right now we aren't suppose to win anything with Romo and Dez out. So be it, that's why they play the game!!

I completely agree with that and that is exactly my point... If the Cowboys clean all that crap up they win both those games going away. If people are going to say the Giants or Philly should have won those games but made a mistake then they have to say it to a much greater degree about the Cowboys. We completely dominated both games and made even more mistakes than either of our opponents.... and still won. Not to sound like a child but.. If they should have won except for mistakes then we should have won more (imagine a child sticking their tongue out :D ).

I can't remember but do both mikes from mike&mike hate the cowboys? I know Golic does but how about the other one?

Golic is still picking the Boys while Greenie is stuck on stupid with the Eagles. Even though he admits the preseason hoodwinked him....but yet he's still guzzling that Kelly Koolaid.

And Santa Claus is real..

Eli admitted the mistake in front of the "media" and he admitted it again while addressing a group of media members which was aired on NFLN. I guess Eli was making it up? LOL

That was stupid of Eli, but they still had the lead with 1:30 left. Dallas still had to drive the length of the field with no timeouts. Their defense is as much to blame as Dumbface.

They all seem to be saying the Giants should have won the 1st game and the only reason they lost is because of Eli. They all seem to conveniently forget that we dominated that game at the only reason the Giants were even in a position to win was because we handed them 3 turnovers. We have flat out dominated both of the games we've played so far and only our own mistakes have made it interesting.... SMH. I guess I'll never understand...

who cares, you have to learn as does the media, they cant tell you anything. With all the predicting and who knows this and that, did anyone predict that the Giants Cowboys game would come down to more screw ups than actually getting it done? So, i dont think of it as dis respect, just their way to remind people "at the kick of the ball, everything we said is useless"

I think it has to do with Garrett, Garrett loves the underdog role....He played it his entire NFL Career. I think the team feeds off that challenge..."us against the world".

And it might be enough to get us 3 or 4 wins in the next 7/8 games...

That's all we can hope for, at the moment. Of course, this game against the Falcons is a huge test for the team overall. If we can win against the Falcons, I will feel a whole lot better about the Cowboys chances in the next 8 games.

It can work as a motivating factor, in fairness given our play over the 1st 2 games I don't blame anyone for questioning the Cowboys. Even the Cowboys can't be happy with their overall play.

Agreed. There have been some positives, but both the Giants and the Eagles basically handed us the game, the way the Cowboys were known to give away games 2 years ago and beyond.

Eli get's most of the blame his mistake gave the Cowboys an extra 40 seconds to work with and without that they wouldn't have had enough time to score with no time outs.

Dallas gets coverage good and bad. I have seen both. When you play sloppy as the Cowboys have when the expectation are high as they are I think it is justified. Cowboys need to go out and put together some solid play if they do they will get positive attention from media.

yet when we dominated them in the past and lost, it was that we sucked and that the Giants know how to close out games.

That is how I know we are a good team. lol Bad teams who play sloppy get blown out of games the fact the Cowboys are managing to win does say a lot about them but you will not walk into games vs NE, GB or Sea and win playing like that.
