Anyone else furious with the officials?

It wasn't clean.....

Clean comes within the flow of the play. Romo had taken two steps...clearly didn't have the ball....and suffered a cheap shot.

What I meant was that it wasn't like the forearm to the neck that Crayton took last week. It was particularly savage - just really late.

That's for damn sure!!!!!!!!

It was INCREDIBLY BIASED. One of the most one sided officiated games of this season. Not only did we get hosed on several big plays by bogus or incredibly picky holding calls, they missed OBVIOUS crap on them that there's just no excuse for.

We should get credit for two wins. And they should be doing some serious investigative work on Ron Winter and his crew. There's no way a game can be that one sided unless there's some really corrupt crap going on somewhere.

Ron Winter, you are a POS. If you got trucked by a tractor trailer tonight, I'd applaud.

And find his grave to take a leak on it.

That sorry son of a ***** could have gotten Romo hurt. :bang2:

It was a late cheap hit. Just like the out of bounds hit on Jenkins.

THAT was the hit that ticked me off. Troy was saying "hey you gotta get out of bounds".

His left foot was ALREADY out of bounds! NO WAY that shouldn't have been called. If we do that, it's an automatic penalty. Total BS non-call.

Romo refused to come out. I dont think he wanted Philly thinking they got the best of him. Everyone was holding their breath too, I suspect he wanted to go out to show he was ok.

I was royally pissed off. How can you miss that, if you're a ref?????? Answer: You can't miss it, you have to choose to ignore it.

I'm still burning about the late hit on Romo.

I can't understand how the officials can see a holding call in the middle of a scrum....yet miss the blatantly obvious cowardly hit on Romo.

Could Clemons be fined?

Me too. The referee is supossed to look for that, but he let that one go.

there's just no way that call can be "missed"...its one of two things he's standing back there to watch for, and it happened in plain sight.

the two holding calls that wiped out Felix Jones big plays were garbage. On the screen the flag came after Jones had run a good 10-12 yards or more past Gurode. They missed flase starts on their OL. They missed offensive pass interference. Their OL wasnt called for a single holding penalty despite numerous plays where McJunk just stood back there and picked his nose for 10 seconds.

It was pathetic.

Well, this crew missed so many calls there is no way they will be in the playoffs.

If they were officiating at Pop Warner they would be surrounded and destroyed by irate parents.

It would have been reckless even if he wasn't injured. The fact that he was dinged only compounded the idiocy. He doesn't have the luxury of 14 days to get completely healthy.

So are we to think that ...

1)the ref saw it and did not think it was a penalty?

2)the ref saw it and thought it was a penalty, but for whatever reason did not throw the flag?

3)the ref had his head in his rear and did not even see it.

Whatever the reason, that officiating crew should have to answer for it.

Well, at least they caught the blow to Tony's head earlier in the game.

No, the correct answer is not listed.

The holding calls were definitely ticky tacky. The refs called the game like they had money on Philly. This really screws with the integrity of the game and it should be addressed. I hope Wade give'em hell over this.

it was clean enough...just LATE. I don't se a fine, but the officials missed an OBVIOUS late hit.

Not just late, but extremely late!!!!!!

I would hate to even suspect that any NFL ref would have any money on a certain team and it affect their calling the game but what other reason could anyone come up with for their BLATANT missed calls. If he didn't see it, he shouldn't be out there. I like the idea of Wade giving the league hell over those non-calls also but I would add Jerry's name to those complaining as he probably carries more clout.

This NFL crew could make 60 Minutes on trying to throwing a game w/o succeding. Only thing, this is NFL and not the NBA.

Exactly.

The 15 yard penalty would hardly change the game, or make Romo's back feel better.

Dropping Romo back to pass in multiple plays after that was borderline ********.

I agree that this wouldn't have changed the outlook of the game.

But it still needs called.

The officials need to protect Romo. He's been getting hit in the helmet all year. He's not been getting calls that other QBs tend to get.

If that gets called, then Clemons and Co would have in their minds next Sunday that they have to hold up on Romo....

The Eagles, clearly frustrated being dominated so badly, were out to try and hurt some players at the end of the game.

Specifically the blatant shots on Romo.

The officials have always given the Eagles A LOT of leeway with the late hits, the holding, false starts, etc.

Let's just hope the officials don't get a chance to help them out next week.
