Are you actually serious???

I can't understand how the officials can see a holding call in the middle of a scrum....yet miss the blatantly obvious cowardly hit on Romo.
Could Clemons be fined?

Hoofbite;3196239 said:Pretty sure they made mention of the hit being late.
Just checked:
Yep, it was Job Buck who pointed it out.
The hit sucks but I don't think it was an intentional miss by the refs. It was far too blatant for them to intentionally miss it. If you are going to look the other way on some of the hits, you wouldn't chose that play to do so.
I fully expect a fine.

dbair1967;3194373 said:Romo refused to come out. I dont think he wanted Philly thinking they got the best of him. Everyone was holding their breath too, I suspect he wanted to go out to show he was ok.
dbair1967;3196330 said:Aikman's comment while the replay was running was something like "he sort of fell on his back"
He said nothing about what was painfully obvious, that the hit was WAY late
SilberBlau;3194303 said:Unbelievable... Other than that, i think they had a good game. ticky-tacky holding on that Felix screen. but we've seen a lot worse this year.

Actually, I thought Romo got hit late twice in that series:bang2:BraveHeartFan;3196599 said:I've been miffed about some missed calls this year but I'll generally let the refs off the hook for most things.
But that one last night pissed me off to no end. How they miss that hit, right in front of them, when it was a blatant late hit is beyond me.
He should be fined and the officials calling that game should be fired.

Clean comes within the flow of the play. Romo had taken two steps...clearly didn't have the ball....and suffered a cheap shot.
